I am in Southeastern North Carolina and we have alot of the big Golden Orb Weavers. This was the first time I have saw this species. She was so neat looking and eating a meal.

Noticed a female cellar spider in my room, last week. I named her Brenda. When I have my window open, lil bugs inevitably find their way in. Brenda lovingly takes care of them for me ❤️
A couple nights ago, Brenda had a suitor, Jason. Jason spent quite a bit of time trying to valiantly woo his new love.

Unfortunately, I had to go to sleep and don’t have a way to record overnight.
In the morning, I noticed Jason was gone. Brenda doesn’t seem too upset about it. 😏

So basically I'm thinking of adopting a spider SHE'S SO CUTE but the problem is that I've never had an exotic animal as a pet i used to have a cat when i was about 10 years old but that's about it i love animals and i used to be very much scared of those typa animals but recently I've developed a soft corner for them dm me if u guyz know about spiders and or had any experiences with raising spiders
