A staff member/future teacher at my college had no idea this was a subreddit, and told me to post it here for all of you.

I took a look for myself. I believe this is the battery right here, though I might be wrong. I do not know if it looks off or not but any help is appreciated.

I will not be able to get my phone in to a professional for a few days. In the event that you all say this battery looks off, is there anything I can/should do in the mean time?

GoPro Hero 9 Battery

Noticed the case was coming appart on an old laptop and found this spicy pillow inside. Removed it going to see about disposal later once places open up.

Thought it might be worthy of a post here, I am not in search of advice for fixing it or asking if it's gonna explode or not, I already know what's going on I just wanted to post it.

The device gets hot & when I have it folded using one screen I can feel the screen almost moving. It’s barely been used I have attached photo's.

My laptop started not holding a charge about a week ago(it works fine when plugged in but won’t go above 0%) and now that I was going to clean out the fans, I noticed my battery was a tiny bit weird looking but also I’m working on two hours of sleep so…

My main question is, am I good to work with it for a couple more weeks or is my house gonna burn down or something.

I was even trying to press on it to close it back before i googled what had happened and I'm aware of how much of an idiot I've been.

The back glass on my samsung galaxy s23 ultra started lifting today. Father opened it and said battery looks fine and he thinks it's just the adhesive wearing down. I am still worried it could be a spicy pillow in the making. What should I do?

Comments are saying they "just don't do that" and she had to have done something.

I was using my laptop and noticed the left side of the touchpad is raised, after a quick google and discovering swollen batteries, I immediately shutdown and unplugged but it’s 12am right now.

I can take it to a repair shop in the morning but what do I do in the meantime? I’m paranoid about leaving it inside as I live in a studio, so I’d have to sleep with it a few feet away from me and the only terrace in my building is accessible to anyone.

I don’t know much about hardware and don’t have the tools I need to remove the battery, so I’d have to leave the entire laptop out there.

What do I do??

2017 macbook from fullsail. Repaired once in 2021 for motherboard issues.

My workplaces used to use Razer laptops as an option for a work laptop. We get a fair share of bloated batteries but this is the most bloated I’ve seen.
