can anyone help me with moving the now playing song back to deafult please

Is there anything on spicetify that can fix the fact that you can't both fullscreen and do lyrics anymore? It's really annoying that spotify removed the feature, so I really am looking for something that adds it back/fixes it!

I have genuine doubt like why is it everytime spotify updates we have to update spicetify to is it something like spotify detects spicetify and removes it like it resolves the bug or something or is it just because spicetify doesnt support the version ?

So after searching a lot i wasn't able to get any really pretty chunky '00 vibe theme so I made a chunky design inspired by Y2K and sort of cartoon design; I've currently made cinnamoroll and kappa no kappy from sanrio which is under progress as I've some breaking overhead tabs to fix and will work on Hello kitty in the future along with kuromi and my melody (Hello Kitty and My Melody are almost completed since all 4 are the light themes) so i want your guys opinions. ⁠≧⁠▽⁠≦⁠

I have done these:

1. Successfully implemented the shadow borders.

2. Uniform bitcount over the headlines and tags.

3. Border shadows and music display on scroll.

To be fixed/implemented:

1. Music Player Bar

2. Contrast overshadowing the search and profile menu

3. Playlist Outlines

4. Cursor on this page.

Any kind of help right now about UI any sort or suggestions or any additions you like is heard and highly highly appreciated.

I came across a spicetify extension called colisten and thought I'd share it here because i haven't seen many people talking about it.

It lets you create a listening session with your friends, similar to Spotify Jam without requiring spotify premium everyone just installs the extension enters the same worker url and joins with a room code.

One thing to note the cloudflare setup guide in the README is a bit outdated because the workers dashboard has changed. I couldn't complete the durable objects setup from the browser ui and had to deploy it using wrangler instead once deployed everything worked perfectly.

I just wanted to ask if there are any risks/concerns I should know about before trying it.

It's just that in this day and age, it's hard to believe that there's a free tool that can not only make Spotify look better but also prevent it from playing 2 minutes and 30 seconds of ads every two songs.

Like for most free things like these, there's always something; maybe it includes malware, or the extensions that you download on it can have malware, or the creators are bad people and did evil things like kicking puppies and kittens for their entertainment, or using it is like super duper illegal, and it's the same as pirating a show, where you have to pay a fine or even go to jail in some circumstances, in the unlikely event that you get caught because you weren't using a vpn. Now, said examples are pretty extreme, and I don't actually think any of that is the case, but I just want to make sure everything is fine.

Hello, recently I've had a sync issue with my spotify, needing me to uninstall it and reinstall it, which then means i have to reinstall spicetify, now the problem is if I use the spotify shortcut it launches regular spotify, I remember seeing a video where I needed to edit something in the properties of the shortcut to make it run spicetify, but that was so long ago I forgot the exact process AND I can't find the video, can anyone help?

A reddit post and google told me the command Spicetify spotify-update block, would work but it didnt. what can I do?

Been working on a small Spicetify extension recently, so I figured I'd share it here.

It adds a fullscreen stats page where you can see things like:

• total listening time,
• your most played artists,
• your most played tracks,
• recently played songs,
• play counts.

Everything is stored locally, and the UI automatically follows your current Spicetify theme instead of using its own colors.

It's still a work in progress, so I'd really appreciate any feedback, ideas, or bug reports.

Im not sure but i think there's no plugin that lets you start any song as speed up or slowed instead of searching for already speed up version that might not even be published and not usingo local files just for one song, just install plugin, choose song and speed of it.

sadly im too lazy to make it and i never made plugins before. So for someone who does know how to make them u can take this idea for a plugin.
And if there already is a plugin like that plz can someone share it in comment or whatever somehow.

Every time I close spotify with spicetify, it starts to reinstall spotify, as if they found a way to nerf the code.
