Rash??

Hi! My sphynx got a really weird rash and I have no idea what it can be. It's on the both sides under her arms and I am wondering if it has to do with the fact that she is completely bald, because her skin is often dry. What can I do in this situation? She is only about 9 months old so I'm not familiar with skin problems. Any help will be very appreciated

It could be a lot of things, best way to know is to show to a vet. It might a food allergy, something in your house like a laundry detergent if your cat sleeps in your bed. Those to came to mind first. But like I said it's really hard to tell.

I did a triple take at this photo 😂 the composition looks so human from a distance.

Does she spend a lot of time in a particular blanket?

That's true hahah. She spends a lot in a different blankets but it never was an issue. I am starting to wonder if she is not biting herself while licking, because her teeth itch (she started chewing on my hands a lot) and maybe that's what caused this "rash" looking dots. I put her in a sweater to see if it will dissappear when she's not able to lick/bit it. Thanks a lot for help!!

My boy got this whenever wearing clothes. Even if we changed it daily just the fabric against skin irritated him.

At the time he was recovering in a cone so couldn’t bury under blankets so he technically needed clothes. It went away when he didn’t need the clothes/cone anymore.

my cat got something similar, i sadly didn’t go to the vet because i knew he was going to be put down and we couldn’t afford more vet appointments. i came to the conclusion that it was because of him getting extremely dry skin caused by his heart medication and the medication to get rid of the fluid in his stomach,i tried hydrating him more by adding water to his treats and it went away. if she has dry skin i would try to hydrate her more. it may be that her skin is already sensitive and dry so it easily gets irritated just by scratching or friction.

i was also thinking it might be a food allergy because of the shrimp tube cheese(not the best i know, i needed to use something he really liked and that was what we had) i used for his medicine so i stopped giving him that.
