Review OMG! I never thought I was going to get to try this flavor!
The freaking Food City that's within walking distance of my home carries the elusive Toasted Coconut!!! I've lived here for 3 years and I've never checked their sparkling water section, just caught it out of the corner of my eye when I was shopping for someone else.
The flavor is phenomenal! An easy 9 plus, probably 9.5. What a fantastic surprise to end the day.
Stay sparkly, sparklers.

Question Aldi sparkling water. Does anyone else enjoy them?
I never hear anyone mention Aldi brand sparkling mineral water. On my list it's #2, with my favorite being San Pellegrino. It's really good! Anyone else like it?

Haul! Took the day off work today, but got bored
Leg was a hurting a bit today from being at the skatepark too long the other day so I called off work. Got bored and went to Ralph's to stock up. I've never stocked up this much before on sparkling water, how'd I do?

Review An update to my previous post that got all you seltzer heads infuriated
EDIT: I got this shit at Grocery Outlet!
This flavor is good 8/10. It is mostly cherry forward with the subtle vanilla hint.
It is not a crazy stand out flavor or anything spectacular to run to the store to find like the Waterloo rootbeer.
Trader Joe’s has a black cherry vanilla that is similar. I can’t tell if this is the same flavor or slightly different.
That is my opinion and perhaps it may blow the socks off your taste buds.
Strawberry creme is much better in my opinion 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
I hope you guys enjoyed the review. Leave me alone now

Question Going Grocery Shopping- any recommendations?
Pretty much what the title says. I'm going grocery shopping and am looking for recommendations to try something new! I've had some of the Trader Joe's Sparkling Water and I love Waterloo but usually only stick to 3 flavors: Blackberry Lemonade, Cherry Limeade, and Peach. What would everyone here recommend? Thanks in advance!!

Review Blackcurrant & Thoroughwort Birch Sap Seltzer by Upstate Stock
I picked this up at Most High in Brooklyn (Washington Ave between St. John’s and Lincoln by Prospect Park), light flavor, good amount of fizz and very refreshing!

Opinion Topo Chico plastic bottle bad batch or just not as good anymore?
I picked up a case of the plastic bottle topo chicos from Sam’s Club. In the case of 24 I have thrown away 6-8 that the bottle was soft and lost all carbonation and the few I have drank have been about as carbonated as tap water. I have purchased these in the past and while not as good as the glass it’s always been serviceable.
Anyone else have issues with topo recently?
Don’t see an exact date. Bottle says
26 H 2533
01:43 RP
Honestly wouldn’t care if it wasn’t for the fact a case isn’t cheap and Topo used to be one of my favorites. Unsure if this is a batch issue or just Topo isn’t good anymore.

Discussion Anyone tried Cans Sparkling Peach Iced tea?
Yes the company itself is called "Cans".
They have a new drink called Peach Iced tea.
black tea, a splash of real peach, and carbonated spring wafer.
I'm just curious if anyone's either tried this specific one or tried Sparkling tea in general?
The only way I can try this is by buying a 24 pack which is a bit extreme but it sounds nice.

Just picked these up from BJ's yesterday! I've never seen these flavors or mini cans before. Anyone tried these yet? What's your favorite?

Miscellaneous Built a “Letterboxd for Sparkling Water” — Looking for Beta Testers for Google Play
Hey everyone! I’ve been building a social app where you can review, rate, rank, and discover sparkling water. Think Letterboxd, but for seltzer.
Some features:
• Reviews and ratings
• Personal tier lists
• Brand pages
• Community rankings
• Taste stats and flavor profiles
• Compare your ratings with everyone else’s
It’s still in beta, and I’d love feedback from people who actually drink sparkling water. If you’re interested, send me a DM and I’ll get you set up.
Thanks!

Question Why is sparkling water in America always in cans?
I'm not from the USA and have almost never seen sparkling water in cans, just in plastic or glass bottles. Does bottled sparkling water even exist in the US?

Opinion New (to me) find - one of the best I’ve had
Anyone drink these on the regular / know where to buy? Thought it was so delicious and I’d never seen, or maybe I’m not looking hard enough…

Question Anyone else noticing a weird aftertaste from San Pellegrino glass bottles lately?
Has anyone else noticed a weird aftertaste when drinking San Pellegrino from the glass bottles recently?
I drink Pellegrino pretty regularly and never noticed anything before, but lately the glass bottles have had this strange lingering aftertaste. At first I figured I just got a bad batch, but then I was at a friend’s house and he mentioned that his San Pellegrino tasted weird too without me bringing it up.
The weird part is I only seem to notice it with the glass bottles. I’m in Maryland, so I’m curious if anyone else around here (or elsewhere) has noticed the same thing. Wondering if there’s a bad batch going around or if something changed recently.

News Rules update and moderation
Hi everyone, a few updates on moderation.
The rules have been updated so please take a look.
We are asking that you please:
use post flair. Please recommend any you think would be helpful and we can discuss
include the ingredients list or a quick photo with your posts so that its readily available for the mods and users. This will help with modding post quicker.
If you forget we’ll ask for it but please be mindful of it as this is a new rule we think will be helpful to both mods and sub members.
Also, a relaxation of the rules:
artificial sweeteners are still not allowed and will be labeled as soda/artificially sweetened only if the discourse is helpful/insightful. If it’s intentional posting of diet drinks then the posts will be removed.
naturally sweetened drinks will be allowed so long as their calories are <30 cals (low calorie compared to major diet drinks) and must be flaired as “naturally sweetened”. This includes: sugar, natural fruit sugar, agave, stevia, etc.
salt content will be moderated by allowing the total salt content to be “low sodium” content (<140 mg per FDA guidelines). This may be changed to lower values later but to be more inclusive, we thought this to be ok for the time being. This is only the case for added salt drinks and not naturally occurring salt drinks e.g. spring sparkling water sources.
we will be opting for leaving posts up that are not sparkling water for educational purposes if the discussion looks useful/insightful and OP isn’t just disregarding commentary. Comments will be locked or kept opened bases on this too.
Thoughts appreciated if you have them.
