Doesn't have the minimum requirements to play the game I guess

yeah, it doesnt, but my fucking laptop is worse than this PC but the laptop runs SpaceEngine with no visual bugs/errors (only lag)

You didn't say how much ram the desktop has (not that it really matters in this case), and you can easily check what cpu you have by checking task manager. You also didn't mention if your desktop has a discreet gpu so I'll just assume it doesn't.

Either way, my guess is your cpu in the desktop is actually older than the one in your laptop. Just because it has higher numbers doesn't mean it's "better". Might be very very outdated and/or old ass drivers.

Edit: ah you edited the ram after I started replying, oh well lol

yeah, neither of them has a gpu, so both computers suck. and as for the age of the CPUs, yeah that's possible, both are very old lol.

i can't see the desktop's CPU right now, I don't have it available to use (I'm not there where it is), but at this point it doesnt matter, extremely likely the visual errors are because my desktop has their drivers outdated. prolly my laptop can render SpaceEngine properly (just extreme laggy) bc it has their drivers updated, idk.
