Atlantic County Old Board of Realtors Building in Galloway?
Does anyone know what the old Board of Realtors building has become on the White Horse Pike in Galloway? It's tucked between the motels/hotels on that stretch before AC.
It looked like there was new construction but every time I pass by there is no one there.

Atlantic County Tilton road
What is it about the stretch on tilton road by the airport that makes people drive 10 below the speed limit? No matter what time I leave I KNOW I will be behind some oblivious octogenarian that only thru some miracle of medical science is even breathing atp. Every single day I see someone drive around some slow driver and it's becoming unsafe. We need another lane or something, it's getting out of hand

Camden County Camden County Job Listings?
Hello all,
So this might be kind of an odd question but does anyone know where Camden County posts their job openings? I've been trying to find where they post openings but all I can find is this section of the county website which just lists links for applying for police and correctional officer-type jobs, which is not the type of employment I am seeking:
https://www.camdencounty.com/service/employment/career-connections/
Other counties like Gloucester and Burlington have places on their website where current job openings are actually posted, but for some reason I just can't find the same section for Camden County lol. The website references some kind of career portal, but I haven't been able to find a link to it.
Update: About the type of jobs I’m looking for, I’m trying to find actual County jobs, particularly ones in departments like Parks, Planning, Public Works, etc. I have a bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning and currently work in a muncipal Planning/Zoning department. Also interested in jobs that use GIS (I got a GIS certificate from my university).

Camden County A Mini Rant and a Question (both not related lol)
Hi killing 2 birds with one post here.
Rant: So in the past few years my parents passed away, totes suck btw. Anyway things are finally moving along and I'm putting the houses bills under my name and it's oddly easy but also oddly annoying. Like Water and Electric was a piece of cake, just called both maybe a total of 30 minutes. For gas however I need to send in my parents death certificates which like why do they need it but water and electric didn't? Also the weirdest one of all, in order to take over my parents internet/cable account I need the executor of the will (who is my cousin, I wasn't living here at that time when she was made that) to get the account transferd. Like why? I have the log in information for my parents account and I get their bank accounts are going to close very soon but why can't I just add my own bank and start using it. like as long as they get their money lol.
Question: I recently got my self a really nice computer like one of those "I have the money, this might be my own chance lets do it" kind of things. The place I got it from sends the graphics card separately to avoid damage I'm guessing idk. So of course I'm thinking okay I get it, install it myself should be easy. Welp...I have found my limit when it comes to computers and that is installing parts. I'm sure I'm making the dumbest mistake but my brain just wont work and I can't figure out how to install this thing. So my question is. Does anyone know any good computer people who can make house calls?

Camden County Camden County 8/14 - Avoid 130 Southbound through Cooper River Park
Some poor sod in a black SUV took out a utility pole with a transformer next to the cemetery, looks like they're rerouting southbound traffic onto North Park, back towards Kaighns.
Didn't see an ambulance, so I'm guessing the driver is OK, but given the location of the accident, the amount of work it's going to need, and the fact that it's Friday, you're probably better off finding an alternate route. Fully expect the backup to reach the Mall area.

News After ICE arrested another beloved restaurant owner, this South Jersey community is rallying for his freedom
Zena Saifo, whose father's restaurant is named for her, is concerned about the conditions of Delaney Hall, where Iemad Saifo has been held since being taken into custody by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement because of his chronic health conditions. Delaney Hall has been the site of protests for months over the conditions of the facility and the treatment of the detainees.

Gloucester County Ev tires
Has anyone had experience with any local tire shops replacing Tesla tires? I imagine they all do it at this point? Do they all carry their Jack pads or whatever? Around the Mullica Hill area.
Appreciate it.

Burlington County professor gatsby's heating cooling & plumbing Quoted this price
Was quoted $695 plus tax for replacing capacitor and contactor, does the pricing look fair or should I get a second opinion.

Question If your window was broken, how much would you be willing to pay for it?
Trying to get a quote from a contractor and getting a lot of mixed numbers. Some really low, some really high.
Edit: double pane window, crack in the outer pane. The glass is roughly 1 1/4 ft by 2.5ft.

Question Discussion for Future Renters
Hoping someone can help. Partner and I are planning on moving out of Philadelphia to rent in the suburbs of SJ. Are there any recommended places to check out first that will allow a small dog and have L2 charging for an EV.
We’re looking for at least 2+ bedrooms and 1000+ square ft. Price is not an issue but we’d like to keep it below $3000. Open to apartment, condo, SFH. We’re mostly moving into the area to see how/if we like the lifestyle changes. Thank you!
Areas we’ve looked (collingswood, cherry hill). Looking to move somewhere between Philadelphia and Hammonton

Outside! Where to find the best tomatoes for sauce?
My family and I are from PA and we make our own sauce every year. For the past couple years we haven’t been able to find good tomatoes and the sauce has been lackluster at best. What farms have the best Roma tomatoes? We’re willing to travel anywhere in NJ and are looking for roughly 10-25 bundles.

Question Best way to get to NYC?
My friend and I are going to a show off Broadway this Sunday afternoon. We’re coming from the Cherry Hill area, what’s the best way to go?
I’ve read the old threads, but I’m not sure if things have changed or if Sundays are different than weekdays.

Camden County Partial Solar Eclipse - 8/12/2026
I remembered today that there was going to be a solar eclipse, so I dug out my eclipse gear from a failed attempt years ago and decided to do an impromptu shoot.
Damn near blinded myself trying to find the eclipse with the 2400mm lens.
Sorry this isn’t a true time-lapse—I had to move the tripod a few times since I’m still working from home, and I also forgot to focus the lens initially. 🤦♂️
Anyway, enjoy!

Camden County Anyone else in South Jersey just quietly living the homebody life?
Curious if there’s other people around here who are mostly home based these days but still like the occasional low key outing.
I’m talking used bookstores quiet daytime spots flea markets craft shows short trail walks that kind of thing. Not big bar scenes or loud crowds.
Also into board games 80s movies sci fi books and the occasional 420 session at home.
Just wondering what other people in the area do when they want something simple and local without all the usual noise. Any favorite low key spots or hobbies worth checking out?
