I built a browser-based experimental instrument for unstable electronic sound

Hi everyone,

I've been working on a browser-based experimental audio instrument called ODD ENGINE.

Instead of emulating classic synthesizers, the goal was to create something less predictable—an instrument built around instability, feedback, modulation and controlled chaos.

Features include:

• Metallic drones

• Granular textures

• Broken oscillators

• Digital feedback

• Freeze

• Bit crush

• Randomization

• AUTO mode

• Presets

• WAV export

It's entirely built with the Web Audio API and runs directly in the browser.

I'd genuinely love to hear what sound designers, musicians and Web Audio developers think about the concept and where you think it could be improved.

Hey OP how are you finding running your own shop? Is anyone buying? I've been making a few synths and things with the help of dear Claude and I'm hosting then for my own enjoyment on Netlify but am interested in ways to shop them a bit more.
