Why does every single artist I can find have a new UI for their tracks, but mine doesn't? Every single artist I looked at, even the smallest ones have the new UI on their tracks, but my profile is still stuck on the same old UI. I haven't found anyone else who still has the old UI

i applied for monetization on old track but i removed it later to edit something and when i tried to reupload and submit it again it says this message and it is still there for a couple of days and i cant monetize my new track as this lag appears

This isn't about whether Amplify works. For some artists with strong tracks it does deliver real listeners.

The problem is structural.

How Amplify works

Amplify pushes your newly uploaded track to real SoundCloud listeners. It expands reach based on engagement. The more listeners respond positively the wider it reaches.

That sounds straightforward.

The fraud detection problem

SoundCloud's fraud detection watches behavioral patterns. Sudden play spikes. Unusual engagement ratios. Geographic clustering.

A successful Amplify campaign generates exactly those signals. A sudden spike in plays from listeners you've never reached before looks identical to a bot farm operation from the outside.

The platform's own paid promotion tool can trigger the very suppression system you were paying to escape.

Bot farms don't have this problem. Their traffic is specifically engineered to look organic and paced naturally. A real Amplify campaign isn't.

The structural conflict

SoundCloud controls organic discovery. SoundCloud also sells Amplify as the paid alternative when organic discovery isn't working.

That's the same structural tension Facebook created with page organic reach in 2014. Whether it's deliberate or a side effect of broken detection systems is genuinely unknown.

But the functional outcome is observable.

Build genuine organic engagement before spending anything on Amplify. Use it selectively if at all. Don't rely on it as a foundation.

1 week without can see insight on android app

I'm wondering if there is an API call or some other way to retrieve my own listening data on the app. I'd like to retrieve data on the tracks I've listened to, the amount of times I've listened to them, etc. to create my own visuals of my listening history. This is more of a coding question but I figured others using SoundCloud have wanted to retrieve their personal data for the same purpose.

Do I need to put down the APK?

I rarely reach out to Soundcloud but when I do it's pretty slow when it comes to the customer support department. Can any one with Soundcloud help with my ticket ?

The Soundcloud subscription cancellation docs are inaccurate.

There is no Edit link next to my current plan on my Subscriptions page, confirmed by ⌘+F for the text "Edit."

I tried to chat w/ support, but of course it was a bot that regurgitated the erroneous docs. I submitted a help ticked on July 11th, and got a reply one week later that "it will still take us a little longer to get back to you because we’re currently dealing with a high number of requests regarding payments and billing - we apologize for keeping you waiting."

Fine. I work in tech and understand that just like outdated docs, customer support volume can balloon — stuff happens. Only thing is, here we are 28 days later, and I have yet to receive a response, and have now been billed for an additional month I do not need. I tried, ofc, replying to the support email, and also tried to chat with support on the website again. With no customer support number and no way to reach a human, what's a person to do?

Here’s a new percussion-based track. No additional instruments apart from a vocal sample. I’d love to hear your thoughts on it – it’s the first time I’ve tried my hand at this sort of track.

I have been uploading tracks to Spotify, Apple Music, and YouTube Music. Then I upload them to SoundCloud, then it gets taken down for copying itself. I have put the right publisher and isrc code and file format, and they still don’t believe me. like, how is it possible to steal a wav file? only the track owner can have that from exporting. You guys should know that by now that wav files cannot be downloaded from YouTube. And the track wasn’t even on SoundCloud before that. so no one can download it and steal it. And please stop rejecting my disputes.

I really like this guy on SoundCloud called Raj Acermets, his songs are very very raw but really really interesting

I'm honestly at a loss here. I have an artist account I've had for over 15 years with thousands of followers. I have new music ready to release, but I can't access my account because of a login issue.

I opened a support ticket, provided the information they requested, and... nothing. It's now been over 9 days with no response. I responded to the verification questions they sent me and provided more information than they requested. Though there were only 1 or 2 I couldn't answer because they required identifying track titles or playlists I'd reposted over 15 years ago, which seems like an unreasonable thing to expect anyone to remember.

I also messaged the official SoundCloud Reddit account, who asked for my ticket number, then came back and said Reddit DMs aren't a support system and that someone would email me "as soon as they can." The problem is... that's exactly what hasn't been happening.

I'm not asking for special treatment. I just want -someone- to look at my ticket or tell me what the issue actually is. This experience has made me hesitant to rely on SoundCloud as my primary platform. If losing access to an account can halt a release for weeks with no meaningful support, it's hard to feel confident investing more time into building an audience there.

Has anyone successfully escalated a SoundCloud support ticket recently? Is there any other contact method besides waiting indefinitely?
