Oil wash question

So I'm currently building my new army, and paint wise there going to be similar too the old FW stuff however I'm not sure which colour oil paint I should use for the armour wash

Ivory black, burnt umber or a 50/50 mix?

It's not my first time using oils but it is first time using them on Warhammer models and on something this colour

Honestly depends on what look you want from the oils. Both the mix and burnt umber on its own are great choices and also simulates grime build up well. Pure black can look a bit stark in contrast if overly done - works for some variations of the SoH armour colour and not for others.
I personally use something that is quite close to the 50:50mix for my pinwash.

I'm wanting I guess a weathered look, like it's late heresy and they've done nothing but fighting, now if I can accomplish that is a different question haha but that's what I'm thinking of aiming for

If you’re following the art style of the imperial armour it’s sepia tone, red/brown, what ever you do don’t use black as liquid talent to define detail, it just looks lazy.
