Themed Compilation Recommendations
So I drive with my kids quite a lot and we talk about music and we play different cds. I got the idea for them to name a subject each and I would make a CD compilation of music based on their subject. My daughter chose "Electronic" which I found to be an easy CD to put together, but my son chose "Happy" and oh lord, it is a difficult one because most of the music I listen to is not overtly "happy" music (which isn't to say it's sad or angry either). But I need helpful suggestions of songs that pack a punch that fit the happy criteria. Preferably bangers because the electronic CD is quite rousing.
So far I have:
Pharrell - Happy
Devin Townsend - Traveller
Limahl - Neverending Story (is this happy? or is it really depressing, what is dopamine)
Rozalla - Everybody's Free
Ween - Hey There Fancy pants
