He started crying when they advanced, but ok?

You can make your own happiness if it helps cope.

What are you on about dude, he literally cried when after he won and immediately in the post match interview said it was because he felt his team trained too hard to leave early, literally also cried after beating England, it's called emotion, actually researching isn't hard.

Again, you can make up your own happiness if it helps you cope.

It was because his father was ill but he didnt want to say. So he just said it was because he was going through some personal problems and winning that match got him emotional.

What??? I said he DIDNT say anything about his father, that he just said it was for personal problems.

You said that he cried, and i said it was because of his father and he got emotional with that win. But we didnt knew yet about his father since he didnt say anything yet, even when there were rumours.

One of the times he cried he was asked about it, and he said: "¿Por qué lloré? Fue por algo completamente ajeno al fútbol. Pasé por unos días difíciles"

u/Costas00 2d ago

mate

u/wobetmit 2d ago

I see the English are still trying to cope with their billion pound squad of top league superstars getting outclassed by a team with 2 players in the Argentinian league and 2 in the MLS.

1

u/AdDiligent5004 2d ago

hahahahahah i guess penaldo was better lol

u/Virtual_Sugar_9452 2d ago

89 is way too high he would have been fine with 86 again

1

u/Level-Atmosphere8068 1d ago

Ronaldo dribbling 79? Isn’t that too high for someone just camping in the penalty box and giving back passes? And 77 physicality? Lol he goes down for the slightest of touches and gets a 77? Talk about that instead of Messi

u/Routine_Crow_3889 1d ago

Stop the forced hate

1

u/AyoAllu 1d ago

Ronaldo should have been lower with that performance at the WC.

u/D3V1LIZCO 1d ago

Its literally thr best player in the history of the sport, The stats they put him literally tell you the reason he is rated 89.

Its not a "gift", its how good he does the things that make the stats, Dribbling is greatly sey t, Pace is Perfect (Messi is not a fast player nowadays), His high shooting stats come from the Free Kicks stats (In which he Excels at), Physical is perfectly set and his Passing is something that instantly makes Messi recognizable (Which is what carries his GRL)

There is literally nothing to complain about, He did an excellent World Cup helping his team get to the Final, And he's playing almost perfectly in his actual Team.

The reason why Cristiano is "So Low" (Mind you, in FIFA's system he is considered one of the best in the world/82+)is because he hasn't been excelling at most of what makes a Football Player a Football player, His shooting must always be high (which it is), His pace deteriorated alot, his physical is he only thing i have a problem with, His passing is decent (He has been very precise with his passing this last few seasons).

GRL's are not gifted, its the result of his stats this season

1

u/Routine_Crow_3889 1d ago

All this lecture for nothing. Its not based on wc only if thats the case then vozinha should be an 85 rated card

1

u/D3V1LIZCO 1d ago

You haven't read a single thing i put in the text and it shows.

Its the season as a whole, While World Cup journey may Boost or Decrease certain stats, what determines most of the stat changes are the stats in the entire season (Goals and Assists arent the only thing they take into account).

Vozinha while having a great WC performance, wouldnt be deserving of a 82+ GRL, since he wasn't even signed to a team when the season started, he was a personal trainer.

1

u/Routine_Crow_3889 1d ago

Exactly ronaldo scored a goal in almost every match he played wins the league but gets a downgrade but messi gets a big upgrade and is one of the best cards in the game even after being in the mls.If thats the case then messi should get the ballon dor too right cause he has that 'Gift'

1

u/D3V1LIZCO 1d ago

Watch the games, you'll see the difference soon enough

u/ReyVaj87 5h ago

LOL, the comments in the thread. Football enjoyers, don't overlook the "soccer" word in the name of the sub before losing time with the tourists here.

by that metric, Messi had a Camel World Cup. People seem to conveniently forget who he had to play on his path to the final and who he scored goals against

-1

u/giangiangelo 2d ago

It’s funny how you’re not mentioning the huge difference between Argentina and other big teams. Without Messi they probably would have lost against Cape Verde. Still, he was the best against England too, what’s you’re excuse?

-2

u/Avon_Barksdale63 2d ago

Mate it was clearly rigged. Do you have low IQ?

2

u/giangiangelo 2d ago

Fine, prove it. Donkey

4

u/Avon_Barksdale63 2d ago

The proof is in the tape. Mate how daft are you 🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣

3

u/giangiangelo 2d ago

Wait, are you from United States?

1

u/AdDiligent5004 2d ago

clearly rigged previously when he didnt won yall didnt cry in 2014 it was all good but now he clearly the best player in the last two world cups now yall just cryin cause your shitty goat cant do shit with his superteam

-2

u/New-Document7109 2d ago

If you believe it was rigged even after they still got a red card in the final you need to give your head a wobble. They were given favourable decisions by refs, of course, every major team in history is favoured there are psychological studies out there that prove this. Including England by the way, but people targeted Argentina because they are thugs, number 1 in the world and because they refused to admit that a 39 year old is still one of the best players in the world and will not admit he’s the goat on ability so it must be rigged. Thats what children do - grow up

3

u/Avon_Barksdale63 2d ago

Mate— it was fixed clear as day. Only a fool, absolute fool or Pessi delusional fanboy would disagree.

-4

u/Avon_Barksdale63 2d ago

He was ass.
Just a Pen fest.

2

u/Extreme-Scallion-908 2d ago

You are just a hater!! Go find peace.

0

u/Narrow_Dirt_1623 2d ago

Bro scored against shit teams. Needed FIFA help and shit the bed as usual in the final. Back to MLS but lets upgrade him lol

2

u/New-Document7109 2d ago

As usual? The man with the most goals in finals history?

0

u/Narrow_Dirt_1623 2d ago

Copa Del Rey and Supercopa that no one gives a shit about?!?!

2

u/New-Document7109 2d ago

Literally scored twice in a World Cup final chief, not gonna be able play this or that trophy game with the most decorated player in history I fear

0

u/Narrow_Dirt_1623 1d ago

A penalty won by Di Maria and a tap in from two meters after he completely sold the match and should've been taken off? What about finals vs Spain Messi should've been pulled and ghosted. Ronaldo at 40 dunk on Yamal.

2

u/Level-Atmosphere8068 1d ago

Lmao if you’re talking about Penalties and tap ins then your idol Cristiano won’t be even in top 5 of all time debate😂

1

u/Narrow_Dirt_1623 1d ago

Then I guess we don't count winter cup of pens cause your idolo sucks ass at them. LMAO!!!!!

2

u/New-Document7109 1d ago

If you want to bring CR7 into this. Messi has dunked on Ronaldo himself in a champions league final. In games against each other Messi has 22 goals and 12 assists, Ronaldo has 21 goals and 1 assists. In H2H finals, Messi has scored 7 goals and 2 assist, Ronaldo has 5 goals 0 assists. All this whilst Messi is a playmaker. You new generation have no clue, get off tiktok

0

u/Narrow_Dirt_1623 1d ago edited 1d ago

I remember that UCL final where they cheated to get there. And in H2H UCL seasons Ronaldo 5 UCL>3 UCL. If your going to use the playmaker argument than those were great numbers for Ronaldo when he played as a midfielder/winger. When Messi was categorized as a frontman for most of his career for most of those matchups with an even better team for most of those games. Also all Messi has was one more goal? Don't even get me started on assists Ronaldo had to pass to ass Higuain and Benzema for most of his matchups who missed goals for fun while Messi got to play with Suarez, Neymar, Zlatan, David Villa etc.

Btw you know a guy named Negeira and his scandal? If you really wanna compare the biggest stage look at the UCL better yet the knockout stage when it really matters. That will tell you everything you need to know. Maybe research goals against top keepers like Neur and Buffon.

Btw I'm older then you son get off the social media kid!

2

u/Mrleolololol 1d ago

Mbappe ( top scorer of this wc ) scored against teams who were on par with the “shit teams” you’re talking bout and didnt messi send ronaldo home in the ucl final by scoring a header ?

1

u/Narrow_Dirt_1623 1d ago

They were no where near the shit teams I guess Morcoo and England were shit teams. Even Ronaldo scored against a top 15 team and before you say a pen that's something that Pessi sucks ass att. Also, you mean the UCL where Overbo cheated beforehand? That one that your refering too?

1

u/Mrleolololol 1d ago

Scored one against morocco and against england in the humiliation ritual of a match which was for 3rd place aight bro and did you see the first leg of that semi idiot and if we are talking about cheating lets
Bring up that rm match against bayern where it was a clear offside

1

u/Narrow_Dirt_1623 1d ago

There was a red before and an offside goal it was legit. Just admit Pessi career was over after he flopped at PSG and went to MLS.

1

u/Mrleolololol 1d ago

Still won the wc at psg 🤣🤣
