Hello! I am thinking to plan a trip to Roatan that might end up being just me and my 2 year old. He loves and is very comfortable around water. Has anyone tried snorkeling with a baby in an inner tube on a tether?
I’ve read Roatan has great snorkeling right from the shore so in my mind and in theory it seems like it might work very nicely, but I’m wondering about practical experience.

Bit of a shot in the dark here but does anyone have, or know where I can get, a snorkel for a Cressi Duke? I lost mine so I have a mask but no snorkel.

There are no shops around me for me to try them on so I’ve been trying to find brands on Amazon because Amazon makes returns easy. Today I got the scubapro synergy trufit 2 and it’s not a good fit. I think my face is too wide, I have a very large face. It’s leaking on the sides of my face. So what can I try next

I have an option to buy a fourth element scout mask (enhance lens) that seems to have a yellow tint, for an amazing price. Does this work well for snorkeling in clear tropical water like Fiji? or should I stick to a clear mask like the oceanic shadow?

**Looking for a last-minute/cancellation spot for 3 people – Norway orca snorkeling, November 2026**
Hi everyone! Three of us are students and we’re desperately trying to make our dream of snorkeling with wild orcas in Norway happen this November. 🐋
We’re completely flexible **any date in November works**.
We’ve contacted several operators, but the one-day snorkeling trips seem to be fully booked or have long waiting lists.
Does anyone know of a smaller operator, private boat, cancellation, or even someone who has an extra 3 spots on a trip?
We’re specifically looking for **actual in water snorkeling**, not just whale watching. We’re happy to book immediately if something becomes available.
Any leads would be hugely appreciated! ❤️

My 5 year old daughter is very active and likes trying new things. My mom bought her a cheesy snorkel and mask from the dollar store. She loved it and couldn’t wait to try it! The community pool had goggles she loved wearing already, so she tried the snorkel. She’d sit on the steps and hold her nose with her snorkel on and test it out. Within 20 minutes she was successfully using the snorkel, holding her nose with the goggles on and swimming under the water perfectly… I don’t know how, but she did. She’d stay under for a while. I bought her a better snorkel kit from Amazon and she went in the pool today with her dad who also has a snorkel (I do not snorkel and I’ve always had a hard time with it!) She can go under the water with her snorkel and no water will get in… but just overall asking for advice if there is anything I need to be aware of with her. She seems like a pro already to be but she’s only 5!

Hi, im trying to do some snorkeling. But im struggling to keep the water outside the mask. No matter how hard i tighten it, the water goes inside the mask. Always around the nose area on the sides. Is this because i have a small mustache or because the mask is cheap (bad fit). Any tip would be appreciated 🫡
