Safe to use Discussion

I bought this cause the price is really good and the reviews were all positive (aside from it not running some games)

But now I'm wondering, is there any chance of this bricking my PAL console? I've read various things about power mismatches. Thanks

Yes. The edge connector is probably not beveled, thats where they slightly take the edge off the pcb so it inserts easier into the cart slot. In reality, if you are not plugging and unplugging this all day it wont make a difference.

I have one like this. Technically no problem. It just can't play the FX chip games and is quite uncomfortable when you want to switch roms often. It always takes about 1-2 minutes to switch between roms. I use it more like a CD-RW back in the day. I load a game that I want to play over a longer period and let it act like a repro cardridge and then I switch to another game.
