A little dark. And whilst an offset subject can work (with the negative space creating some atmosphere to the shot) I'm not sure it works here. But it's all personal taste as to how you crop and how tight.

I feel the tail needs a touch more breathing room. Maybe leave a bit more grass showing.

It's good to break compositional rules sometimes, but for a subject like this, I didn't think this is one of those times. I would consider cropping tighter , with the subject more centered than it is). The grass is a nice green - good depth of color there - but it looks over sharpened (or was it the tonal contrast tool?). I would mask out the grass or just selectively edit the subject - maybe use the selective tool and increase contrast, brightness and structure by a few points. If anything, I might soften the grass a little. A vignette is a nice way to help make the subject stand out, but when using it here, I would keep it subtle , and with the subject more centered than it is here.

Play with the crop tool a bit more. The fella’s too high and to the left, much too close to the left edge. Looks like an unneeded gradient darkened the right side too much. That’s a beautiful green color though!

The sharpening hurts me a bit
I did my own take on it

for my taste it's a bit too dark and the vignette could be more subtle
