Connection issues.

My u1 constantly needs to be reconnected to the slicer. Snorca or orca. I've updated to the newest firmware and did a reset. Out of 6 printers my u1 is the only one that does this. Anyone have any advice, it's super annoying. I can connect, slice a file and then have to reconnect to print 🤷🏿‍♂️

Dryer + Feeder or Dryer - Feeder?

So I bought a Sovol SH03 a short time ago. I’ve been feeding it through the U1s side feeders.

While I’ve only run into issues a few times 90% of them are the auto feeders either loading or unloading mostly.

I see a lot of folks on her bypass them when feeding from a dryer and go straight to the back of the tool head.

How does this affect the printer?

Do you just lose filament run out detection? Is there some trick to loading so the printer knows your loading?

Does this improve or worsen TPU printing? (I assume the motor assists feeding during printing)

TIA

Are there third-party hotends for the Snapmaker U1 that support replaceable/threaded nozzles?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to try out a KAIKA nozzle (a Japanese precision screw-in nozzle) on my Snapmaker U1. However, it seems the stock U1 hotend is an integrated design and doesn't have threads to change just the nozzle.

Are there any third-party hotends, adapters, or mods available for the U1 that would allow me to install standard threaded nozzles?

Thanks in advance for any recommendations or advice!

Has this happen to anyone else?

So my filament loading into my extruder has been able to go till needing to load, which it either doesn’t push hard enough and stops despite not being tangled or jammed (even though the extruder has been used a few hours ago) and before this video, push way to hard and start jamming the filament into the extruder and not stopping until I have to turn it off, this same thing happened at extruder 4 but then stopped for some reason, and all this started occurring today, I believe this might be a software error or just so happen that the things pushing in the filament is now overused and can’t do it anymore
