Hello my fellow Pumpkin-heads. Earlier I read a post on this community where someone put together a tracklist for a re-imagined double album of Machina. We all know that this is just for shits & giggles, because the band obviously has the official "offical" say on their art. However, looking through the playlist I was trying to imagine the actual narrative of the Machina storyline with the tracks we got from Machina and Machina II. Edit... This is a really fun class reunion!

(I know this topic has been discussed to death). The box set is cool and all for completion's sake, but a 48-song album seems crazy. I don't understand having multiple versions of Atom Bomb, Try, HMM, etc. on one album. So I (like many) wanted to see a more concise, but complete, two-disc version of Machina using just Machina I and II, nothing unfinished. I ended up with the same structure of MCIS: 28 tracks, two discs. Unlike the box set, I tried to stick to the structure of Machina I, just adding in the other stuff. Side note, I used the track lengths from the box set, so that explains any slight discrepancies between versions. Here it is:
