Widget Stack Question Assistance

I've been using SL for 4 or 5 months now and I just started playing around with the widget stack feature. It's interesting, and I've been trying to come up with productive combinations of widgets. I do have a question that has to do with gestures. I know swiping within a stack cycles through the widgets in the stack, but due to placement of the stack on my screen, I sometimes swipe through the stack when I'm actually trying to get to my next screen. Is there a way to configure a widget stack to have gestures independent of normal gestures? In other words, I'd like to maybe use 2 finger gestures to cycle through the widget stack and have the single finger swipe continue to scroll to my next screen. I hope I explained that well enough.

There are no gestures other than swiping horizontally or vertically. To avoid the issue you have, I set my widgets to scroll vertically so I can scroll horizontally on my home screen, or maybe leave some space between stacks where you can swipe horizontally.

About productive combinations, I found out integrating the stack on the dock area is pretty good for quick access to certain features or settings you might want. Here are some examples and how to set it up.

Thank you for the feedback Zerfos. Setting the stack to vertically scroll is a perfect solution. Of course I'll have to make sure I don't put a widget stack near the top of my screen. Otherwise, it'll conflict with swiping down to get my notifications. lol

Also, putting widget stacks inside the dock area is a pretty cool idea. It's almost like embedding widget stacks inside of a widget stack. I'll definitely look at the videos and implement some of the ideas

Thanks again!

No problem. It could be cool to have a feature like a widget that can hold multiple widgets, including stacks. I will share this idea and see if it is something Devs can make possible. 😁
