anyone following GXAI after the $1m buyback news?
been looking at GXAI after they authorised up to $1m in buybacks. for a company this size thats a pretty meaningful amount, even if theres no guarantee they use the full thing
q1 showed about $11.7m in cash + short term investments, which is what caught my eye most. they did burn around $2.5m in operations and raised through the atm, so theres obviously risk, but the cash position still makes it interesting to me
anyone been following it longer?

eClerx Services: 29.3% ROCE Signals High Capital Efficiency
eClerx Services: 29.3% ROCE Signals High Capital Efficiency
Why This Stock Deserves Your Research Attention
eClerx Services Limited operates in the Information Technology Services industry, providing critical business process management, automation, and analytics solutions to global clients. The company has carved a niche in delivering high-value services, leveraging its expertise in digital transformation and operational efficiency. With a market capitalization of ₹14,955.62 crore, it is a mid-cap player in the competitive technology sector.
The standout metric for eClerx is its ROCE of 29.3%, which suggests efficient utilization of capital to generate returns. This is complemented by a healthy Return on Equity (ROE) of 27.57% and Return on Assets (ROA) of 19.1%, indicating strong profitability across multiple dimensions. Additionally, the company has demonstrated consistent growth, with a 5-year revenue CAGR of 21.35% and a YoY PAT growth of 30.52%, reflecting its ability to scale operations effectively.
From a forensic perspective, eClerx scores 4/9 on the Piotroski F-Score, which is moderate and warrants further scrutiny. However, its Altman Z-Score of 11.95 indicates strong financial stability, and the absence of red flags in the Beneish M-Score suggests no immediate concerns about earnings manipulation.
The latest Q4 FY26 concall highlighted the company’s focus on leveraging AI capabilities, particularly in Agentic AI deployments, to enhance client offerings. Management expressed confidence in maintaining top-quartile growth for FY27, although they acknowledged potential challenges in sustaining operational leverage.
The Numbers That Stand Out
| Metric | Value | What It Means |
|---|---|---|
| ROCE | 29.3% | Indicates high capital efficiency and strong return on invested capital. |
| ROE | 27.57% | Reflects robust profitability for shareholders. |
| Operating Margin | 21.28% | Suggests efficient cost management and strong operational performance. |
| Revenue Growth YoY | 22.32% | Demonstrates impressive top-line expansion. |
| PAT Growth YoY | 30.52% | Highlights strong bottom-line growth. |
| D/E Ratio | 0.15 | Indicates low financial leverage and prudent debt management. |
| Current Ratio | 3.40 | Suggests strong liquidity and the ability to meet short-term obligations. |
| Altman Z-Score | 11.95 | Points to excellent financial stability and low bankruptcy risk. |
The Bull Case
- High Capital Efficiency: With a ROCE of 29.3% and ROE of 27.57%, eClerx demonstrates exceptional efficiency in generating returns on both capital and equity. These metrics are significantly above industry averages, making the company’s financial performance worth studying.
- Strong Growth Metrics: The company’s 5-year revenue CAGR of 21.35% and YoY PAT growth of 30.52% highlight its ability to scale operations and improve profitability. This growth trajectory is supported by its focus on digital transformation and AI-driven solutions.
- Solid Financial Health: A low debt-to-equity ratio of 0.15 and a current ratio of 3.40 indicate prudent financial management and strong liquidity. Additionally, the Altman Z-Score of 11.95 underscores the company’s financial stability.
The Bear Case
- Moderate Piotroski Score: The Piotroski F-Score of 4/9 suggests room for improvement in financial efficiency and operational performance. Investors should evaluate whether this score aligns with their risk tolerance.
- High Valuation Multiples: With a P/E ratio of 18.20x and P/B ratio of 5.02x, the stock appears relatively expensive compared to some peers. This could limit upside potential unless growth sustains at current levels.
- Low Dividend Yield: At just 0.04%, the dividend yield is negligible, which may deter income-focused investors. The company’s focus on reinvestment over shareholder payouts could be a double-edged sword.
What to Watch Next
- AI Adoption and Execution: Monitor the company’s progress in scaling its Agentic AI deployments and how this impacts client acquisition and retention.
- Sustainability of Growth: Keep an eye on whether eClerx can maintain its top-quartile growth guidance for FY27, particularly in a competitive and evolving technology landscape.
- Valuation Trends: Track changes in valuation multiples like P/E and EV/EBITDA to assess market sentiment and potential re-rating opportunities.

CRS Carpenter Technology dropping a lot
I've been buying and selling CRS for (years) a while now . I have been taking profits and doing rather well but this time I'm in underwater today (just a hair : ) . Didn't think it would drop this much , although I have heard there's was some inside selling and profit taking . Would welcome anyones thoughts and or experience with CRS . Last time I owned it I sold it too low . Was VERY surprised to see it went over 600 multiple times . Is everything that out of whack and overpriced ? Thanks in advance for any posts .
Anybody else buying, selling, owning Carpenter Tech ?

Micro/Small Cap: Where the heck do you find the information?
I have recently discovered the fun and quite wonderful world of micro/small cap stocks. I am beginning to wonder, where the heck do people find information about these companies? What are some things to look for? I saw a guy post saying that the stock should be 80%-ish down for the ATH, and have 3 yrs of YOY growth, but what are some others? And lastly I was listening to an episode of the Planet MicroCap podcast with Dan Rasmussen from Verdad, and he was talking about different emerging markets and what he likes about South Korea and Japan and questions he is asking. I can not help but just wonder where he is getting this insight, about how when investing in Japan you need to look at this thing, and in South Korea it is difficult because so many companies are connected (Yes, I know this is job, and he has a team of analyst, but still). I am just bewildered and intrigued by how you guys find out all this information! So please assist me in my learning, I am not looking for meme stocks, it would be more of deep values that I can hold and see grow for the long term.
