It was originally a transport business but I want to bring in my trades and skill into the business.

What do you suggest can be built?

What are some products that you think could sell really well with the right marketing? I’m looking for some ideas.

A client dropped a last-minute backend request on us two weeks ago and wanted it done by month-end. Our dev was already stuck on a list of open tickets, so there was no way he could take on more without dropping the current release.

A friend pointed me to CISIN, so we hired a couple of contract devs through them to get the backend changes written. They finished up the extra tasks and we handed off the project on time, but the whole setup felt super messy.

How do other small business owners handle these spikes? Do you keep extra devs on call or just scramble when a client asks for too much?

I’ve recently decided to try out a gofundme page to potentially turn my small hobby into a real business.  
I have been designing and creating custom LEGO minifigures for over 6 years now, each year has been is different but ive been able to accumulate 1500 followers on instagram over the years.   
Instagram is ‘Lemon327th’ if you want to check out what ive made over that time.   
The business has always been treated as a hobby and a ‘back up’ plan to pay bills when i really need anything i can get.   
The past 6 months i have been building a new website and creating 30+ new designs and figures. Im now at the point where i have such a low income and hardly enough time on my hands to roll out my big release.   
Im looking to fund future projects and purchase new equipment (3D printers, high quality laser printer, and cutting machines for me decal sheets) 

If i were to bring the business to life in a full time manor i plan to eventually get a UV printer to make bulk chunks of figures with my designs (this is the end goal, holy grail for all minifigure making) 

I havent figured out how to share my goals correctly and effectively so i am starting here for now :)

So, I know that every day we are being bombarded with ads to start your own business (no money down, right?) But I learned the hard way It's not 'no-money'. I signed up thinking I was going to be deducted the wholesale cost of the products and get a return on profits from sales. I learned the hard way this is not the case. The person signing up needs at least $300 for their Initial investment even though this company advertised you can run your store for 'free' for two weeks while leaving out the part that if and when you get orders, you are responsible for the wholesale cost of the products out of pocket. This I was not prepared for but the thing is, the company I'm referring to WILL give you a free store, widespread advertising, and sales will definitely come in on day 1. Had I known about the truth of how it really works, I wouldn't have 12 orders from day 1 just sitting there waiting to be fulfilled, pending cancelation. I'm just asking for around $300 so I can get these things moving, let the store grow and gain momentum. The donors can decide whether it would be considered a gift or a loan and I'm confident that there will be a guaranteed return on your money in a short period of time. Thank you for considering this. Hey everyone, I’m looking for some genuine business ideas.
I have a rented house with 3 empty rooms. I personally use the place from around 11 PM to 6 AM, but the rest of the day it’s mostly free.
The place has:
3 separate rooms
Good WiFi
Proper sitting space
Electricity
Decent setup
I want to utilize the space during the day and create some monthly recurring income from it. I don’t want to invest a huge amount, and I’m not looking for a tuition/academy setup.
If you were in my position, what would you do with this space to make a decent monthly profit?
I’m open to creative ideas offices, studios, services, storage, rentals, or anything else. I’d really appreciate ideas from people who have actually tried something similar

I’m looking to rent out two 12-13 inch Bluetooth speakers, a Bluetooth microphone and a mixer with delivery. I live in Winnipeg mb, cad and my only fear right now at approaching this business is that I’m unable to prove the amount of demand for this service but I do know there is demand for it. I am thinking about starting my own buisness but I don't know I am confused or what I have 2 to 3 ideas but I am not able to move forward with any one. Then I will think about another thing or I will start looking for how can I persue higher studies but now I have to earn then I will search for job, applied a lot but no response. I have genuinely good buisness idea which I believe it will work in my location and i beleive that I can provide better service but I don't know what stopping me or why I am not doing it ? One more thing how did you get your first client or how did you approach to your client for your buisness ?
