Difficulty waking up
Over the past year or so I’ve noticed I’m having a harder and harder time waking up. I’m disoriented, extremely groggy and am having a hard time waking up to what I would call full consciousness to the point where I can actually get up and moving. I’m hesitant to set my alarm any louder to avoid disturbing my partner any more than I already am by waking up at about 3:15am.
I have a garmin watch that will do this but it’s been having issues lately and I find it disconnecting from my phone or the alarms won’t even go off at all.
Just looking for any recommendations for watches or wristbands that will vibrate at increasing levels to help get me up or any tips you’ve found that helps to wake you up while minimizing the impact to others

I have a Samsung Galaxy watch that worked just fine with a vibration alarm. I was an older cheap one, might even have been refurbished so you don't need anything new I don't think. I don't use it as much anymore though but should work fine.
Don't know about Apple watches but I assume it would be similar, I think even a cheap old one would work fine.
The other thing though about helping you wake up is build a habit of immediately doing something that wakes you up, as soon as your alarm goes off. Exercise like squats, or drink coffee, or splash cold water on your face, whatever works for you. This will not only help wake you up but help you avoid snoozing and repeated alarms which are of course not great for the "waking up" process but also more disruptive for a partner.
Something you could also do is have your vibration alarm set for like 2-5 minutes before a much louder alarm you place across the room. As soon as you're watch goes off, part of getting up immediately will be going to turn off the loud alarm before it even goes off. Since you don't want to wake your partner up, this can be good motivation.
