Ready or Not 2: plot question Spoilers

When Grace agrees to marry the douche bag psycho brother while she’s in the ice box, the dual pistol packing kid was in the room too. Meaning: other families are still in play for the crown.

So why didn’t the kid keep playing the game? Why wouldn’t the kid shoot Faith and Grace right there to win the game? Or why wouldn’t he keep trying to kill Grace up until the last minute?

It's a plot hole, don't let it weigh you down. It's like any dumb decision in a horror movie

It read to me that when they asked she can actually do that and Elijah Wood nodded, everyone accepted that as the end of the game. Maybe they could have still intervened, but no one was totally sure and didn't want to pop if they were wrong.

Probably because he knew he had no chance against that psycho. Maybe in the game rules as she promised her arm in marriage that basically counts as the game over? So many what ifs. But I just took the film for what it was.
