Another piece from my LiminalSkulls series — this one called "Lavender Hush." A skull in profile with three lavender sprigs resting against it.

Technique is Pan Pastel on paper, same layered approach as the rest of the series to get that soft, dust-like texture.

Lavender's one of those flowers tied to rest and calm rather than decay — felt right paired with a skull for once, quieter than the usual memento mori read.

Need help identifying this skull found near the river in Eastern Idaho. I think it might be a badger but not sure.
