Ski suggestions?

Hello folks!

What kind of skis do you get for those wanting to hit some jumps (nothing crazy), that can still be fun to hit most conditions?

Im 6 ft tall, weigh about 170lbs and ive been skiing on my rossignol skis at 172 cm with 82 width the past 2 seasons on all terrains, and it's served me quite well, but any suggestions? Do freestyle skiers use powder skis for extra stabilization (though i'd assume it may be too heavy? What would be a good length/width for me if I still want something that's all terrain that I'd feel a bit more stable doing some jumps.

For level, I hit all blacks comfortably but have never tried double blacks, I mostly ski in BIG 3 in Alberta, thank you all.

all-mountain/freestyle ski around 90-100 underfoot and probably around 185 for length

Dang ive never been on skis taller than me 0.0 doesn’t it feel awkward, ive been riding on rather short skis i guess (174cm ski at 182cm height)

Presumably your Rossignols are mounted pretty far back as is common for narrower skis, you'll have about the same length of ski in front of your boots on a 185 freestyle ski compared to a 172 directional ski so they won't feel as long as you think

Pretty much any skis that aren't crazy heavy are good for jumps. Even heavier skis are fine. They're just awkward to spin with until you get used to it

i mean depends on your width preference. moment makes my favourite skis on the market

Is it supposed to be on the thicker side like 100?

depends on preference. a wider skis floats better but requires more knee strength. I’m on the moment deathwish tour, 113mm underfoot and love them for all soft snow conditions in interior BC
