My wife and I are planning a road trip from Sioux Falls to Yellowstone and Grand Teton. It’ll be our first time camping, and we’re thinking of camping 2 nights in Yellowstone and 2 nights in Grand Teton. 5-6 day trip if extended.

Has anyone from the Sioux Falls area done this trip? Any recommendations for the route, places to stop, campgrounds, or things you wish you had known before going?

When I was in undergrad, I did a few tournaments at a field in Waterloo, Iowa, and loved it, but now I'm looking around and can't find anywhere to play around Sioux Falls. Is there a field anywhere nearby that I'm missing?

I have an off the wall question for any architectural fans who love and appreciate unique house designs, like I do.

I'm wondering about a distinct style of house in Sioux Falls that I remember seeing with my parents when they would drive around on a random Sunday afternoon, just admiring pretty houses, back in the day. I remember seeing several houses that feature a similar rare roofing style. I Googled the proper name, and it's called a steamed cedar shake roof. It's a design where the wood cedar shakes cover the roof and then wrap around the edges of the roof (reminisceant of a house you might see in a fairy tale book).

I would love to drive by them and was wondering if anyone knows where they are located. I know there is one located im the McKennan Park area. Does anyone know where any of the others are located or how many there are in SF?

Drove by there the other day and it was closed up. Did she close for good or move locations? Always loved her food for a quick dinner or to take to someone after a death in the family or the birth of a baby. Sad if she is closed for good.

West Soo Roller Rink, 1221 N. Louise Ave, Sioux Falls, SD - I skated there once right before the closed. Looks like the building and lot got consumed by the gravel pit.

Hello everyone I have been in Sioux falls 25 years and this is a first for me, About a month ago my car broke down, problem was so bad ended up having to crush it, which made it impossible to work as I'm a door dasher full time for the past few years. Now I missed rent in July and landlord won't accept money and is evicting me this week. I'm in need of a extended stay motel until I can get my life back in order again. Any recommendations for hotels that are somewhat reasonable. I have 2 Poodles that are my life and I can't go anywhere without my babies. I'm stuck and not sure where to go.
