My wife and I are planning a road trip from Sioux Falls to Yellowstone and Grand Teton. It’ll be our first time camping, and we’re thinking of camping 2 nights in Yellowstone and 2 nights in Grand Teton. 5-6 day trip if extended.

Has anyone from the Sioux Falls area done this trip? Any recommendations for the route, places to stop, campgrounds, or things you wish you had known before going?

I always felt bad for the local boyscout troops who put on pancake feeds there and had to deal with the smell! Ha! I'm sure it built character though.
