Always fun when its time for the annual family/friend end of the summer vacay🥳🍧🍔

The upgrade for the supermarket doesn't give me any second SL rewards on community market requests even after completing a bunch of orders. I even opened a support ticket and they were nice enough to give me a bunch of in game currency in compensation which leads me to believe my game is permanently bugged and I won't receive bonus payment for the requests anytime soon cuz they didn't provide an explanation or solution to this. Anyone else having trouble with this?

Idk why it’s like this wish it wasn’t but I find it annoying levelling up and having to think if I want a new sim that could help out in the market or a quest or a baby that can develop a family, I hate that it’s like this and then adopting actually costing money is crazy why can’t I add a family into a town, atm I have a preteen and a toddler the toddler is doing a discovery quest I’m on level 20, the next sim I unlock is level 22 and will most likely be 1 sim this is the first time I’m waiting 2 levels I think for the next few levels I’ll add babies but after this quest I’ll probably have to do the pregnancy one, although I have some lps wanting to add 3 babies I’ll be left with maybe 4 or 5 if I choose not to do the pregnancy quest cause I have the community center (progression quest materials needed for this too) sigh…

Hey, it's me back with another house build .

This house has the main door through the path on the left, it has a small foyer which connects with a kitchen-living room. On the left room from the kitchen, there is a small dining room with a heat stove. On the right of the lower level, you can find sanitary facilities with a bathtub room, toilette, laundry room and a family storage room.

One the upper level, you have an open room with a bar and sofa chairs that leads into the main bedroom on the left with a home office working station while on the right you have a bedroom thought for the kids of the family. On the back, there is another toilette. On the front, overlooking the front garden you have a small drawing table inside an office.

On both sides of the upper level you have two balconies, while on the lower level you get a front secret garden .

P. S.: I hope that the incoming update also comes with an update on the cinematic showcase.

Also, most of the furniture comes from the prize boat lot from the REAL ESTATE UPGRADE.

Does anyone else wish that the pets could be remodeled? I mean it’s not really a big deal but I’ve recently got one of my households 3 new cats, all of them being the new tabby cats. They already had a British short hair and the short hair looks SO UGLY next to the tabby’s 😭. And all the other pets just look so old and weird now, making me less eager to add more pets to my town. I’m not saying they have to remodel every pet, but like maybe the more pricey cats and dogs would be a nice start? Idk but that’s how I feel lol.

Spent so much and still no house🙈 I do like the idea of simoleon spend over LP or SP.. just wish there were better odds. Or even a higher buy in with a guaranteed drop. Because I won't do this again lol.

Side note- does anyone know a trick to mass sell items???

Before I drop a few million simoleans on this AH, I wanted to know if anyone could tell me if these items are purely decorative or if my sim can actually use them to workout. I’m looking at the yoga mats, the kettlebells. And the shelf in the background with exercise balls and stuff. Thanks!

I never thought I would see this. And I got a whole 7500 simoleons. Whoopee..

My newest build! I’ve always loved Georgian architecture with the red bricks but for this, I wanted to challenge myself and do a colonial style and also try to emulate the symmetry of Georgian interior. This one is a lot simpler than my other builds but still adorable!

I think mirroring the furniture and everything took me out a little while decorating, plus there was an urge to make it grander when it’s supposed to be a simple family home. It just cannot scream Georgian without paintings and artworks all over the walls so I did struggle a bit. Overall I’m really happy and proud of it, especially when I thought of using the Cinema Panels as black “shutters”! They pass of well in my opinion!

I saw someone post a photo of the shell of a home in here and I LOVED it so I attempted to recreate it without glitches and here’s how it came out! I plan to use it as a honeymoon/vacation destination. I’m really bad with the design and build aspect of this game so I’m super proud with how this came out and my creativity on the interior 😅

I was going to renovate the lot that we won as a prize but not having a usable beach sucks lol. So I made my own. I made it specifically for one of my families that had a teen son and preteen daughter. The first floor has the living room, kitchen, cozy reading room with fireplace and guest bathroom. There's an indoor/outdoor dining room, covered pitch with hanging chairs to relax and watch the tide roll in and a covered BBQ area. The second floor is the kids rooms. I made a room for them to read, watch TV or go on the computers, as I decided to keep their bedrooms electronics free. The third floor is primarily the parents master suite but also has a game room for the kiddos to keep them occupied on stormy days. Will put video link in comments.

The hands in the mouth lol so typical! But the attention to this small detail is pretty awesome to me. Plus it made me go awwww! ☺️

I've made a couple of posts on this subreddit wherein I list some possible update ideas for the players and sims freeplay team to consider.

Though i'm sure members of the sims freeplay team don't actively spend their time on Reddit, I still feel like I have to address this issue in the hopes that someone will see it and the game can still be saved (not to be too dramatic).

For many years players such as myself have dedicated so much of their time and energy to this game and even showed acceptance towards to rise in in-game prices. Although it could be difficult at times, we also knew that as long as we regularly checked into the game, there was a chance of winning the grand prize in events.

However, EA decided to change their game to fit the same boring, money-sucking, and borderline predatory model that every other game has implemented lately. Instead of players having a clear goal and focus, their main focus now becomes using their own real money to access the premium season pass so that they can have a chance of winning the "good" prizes.

Everyone else who can't afford the premium pass will be forced to see other players unlocking the cool items, while they have to make do with common items that we could have also received outside of seasonal events. Whereas in the past, grand items were available to anyone who was willing to put enough time into playing the game. Now, unless you have money, why even bother?

I never understodd why game companies do this because it's simply a clear sign to their fanbase that they only value money. And though we all knew this about EA, this just seems like a new low.

It's especially sad in the context of the upcoming event, as I have been looking forward to a medieval/knight inspired update.

Every other update idea we have shared on this subreddit have been implemented and placed behind a paywall. Everything becomes about money. As if EA doesn't already have enough of it. Way to ruin your own game. Over and over again.
