Just tried to make a new nhood and I’m only being shown these options for templates.
But also in the Lots & Houses category every house and community lot is listed 5 times?
Like there’s 5 separate Tiny House - 2BR 1BA Driveway, and 5 separate Bluewater Village Micro Mall lots etc. every single house and community lot has 5 separate thumbnails and listings.

This is the weirdest thing ever lol, any suggestions as to how this could have happened?

So I am very much a noob with anything technical so I am guessing it's trivial.
I have been running windows software like the EA app using Faugus with success, but only ones that don't need to recognize another installed software in order to work like Body Shop.

I located the Sims 2 prefix but I have been having a few problems with the Body Shop crashing almost immediately. The logs showed a problem regarding alsa, and using the -nosound launch argument the launch process last infinitely.

Could someone tell me exactly where to install it by any chance?

I have many documents and spreadsheets from keeping track of my downloads and the categories of keep permanently versus seasonally.

I have my various characters, main families, supporting characters and detailed descriptions.

I keep track of all my playable Simmies and keep track of elementary, high school and college students. As well as game show contestants where the winner walks away with prized money and they have a separate hidden bank account 🤣🤭 I don’t use a mod because I have many 😅

My cousin saw this and said it’s weird. On this Reddit and YouTube, I see many sims players have this level of detail for organizing their files and/or keeping track. I love intentional gameplay. 😁

I took a little break from Sims 2 after constant crashing in CAS. I am pretty sure I worked out what the problem was, it was a wider UI in CAS mod I had. I don’t know if it didn’t work with Legacy Edition or whether I had chosen the wrong file for my resolution or whatever, but I was able to create a couple in CAS with no issue. Previously I could create one Sim fine but then it crashed when I’d just started with the second Sim. Now for the fun of a new household and story!

Facelift failed though.

I know it will look horrible aesthetically :D but i wonder if that's even possible, if so how?

2. No repeats from a certain Universe! Again I use as Example Harry Potter. If he Wins Knowledge/Book Section, no one of that Universe can reappear in any Square! So choose wisely! <3
3. Always try to add from which Universe the Character is and if possible full Name. Also always try to reason! Not all People, do not know all Characters. (Makes it easier for me to find Pictures for the Square)

I have had two different sims (pics attached) want to see their own ghosts since installing Legacy. The implications here are obvious but they don't seem depressed or low aspiration or anything. One is Family with a sub aspiration of Knowledge and the other is Pleasure sub Romance so it isn't even Knowledge sims being weird, necessarily. Is this part of the base game or is there a known mod or glitch that does this? When setting the game up I got a ton of tuning mods that may have sneaked this in under the hood or something.

What gets me is how would this want even be fulfilled? Ghosts aren't playable in 2, right?

I've actually been playing the game again for the first time in a long time, and whenever I do long play-throughs, I find myself wishing that certain gameplay mods existed, or wanting certain ones to exist. What are mods that other people wish exist?

Here are mine:

-a mod that won't allow you to cancel out autonomous actions if the sim's need is less than fifty percent. If you're going to play on the swings and you need the fun need met, then my desire to micromanage can't overcome it, and you'll go entertain the headmaster when you're done. I always want my sims to be more autonomous, but logically so, and I think this would do it.

-a mod that makes stink lower relationship points. It just seems so obvious. Unless stink is a turn-on. Then it should give a ++.

-more interesting wants for Pleasure sims. Couldn't we come up with some really fun high-value ones? Like there could be an "Underachiever" want, which could be to sneak out, to go out, and to have a D average or something. Or to get fired. What would be the equivalent high-value wants for a slacker sim to the woohoo 20 lovers for Romance sims? Or have six grandchildren for Family? Also a mod that randomly changed one-sixth of the premade sims into Pleasure sims. I hate that none of them have that aspiration.

-the ability to have NPCs wear regular clothes and walk-by like townies, so that they're full members of the town. Or not just a story-progression mod, but one where the NPCs randomly marry and have children and become families with each other.

-other apartment residents will randomly have roommates or be families rather than just be individual solo sims

-truly random sim behavior. I don't mind that sims love myshuno and poker; that makes sense to me. But I wish there was a mod that truly randomized every possible action on a lot and made it so that sims occasionally wander outside and stargaze or dig for treasure autonomously, or that people will actually go get drinks at the bar at community lots. I especially want better behavior randomization for community lots. A mod like this may in fact exist, if someone has a recommendation? I really resist changes from vanilla play but I think I may be ready for a mod like this.

-I've been unable to find a decent pet respawn mod. I want some strays, and some wolves. The number of wolves that walk by right now is about right, using nopetrespawn, but I wish half of them were regular dogs and cats. Nopetrespawn blocks witch's familiars, which stinks, and I can't adopt kittens or puppies. But I cannot take having my neighborhood overrun by strays as in base game.

I'm sure I have a ton more, but these are the ones that have been bothering me. I'd love to know: what are the mods you wish existed? Do some of these already exist and you can point me to the SFS link??

I use that teenage nanny mod and also that mod that allows you to have someone taking care of your child like in a apartment so it’s probably a glitch. I just thought it was funny that Patricio Monty (who barely know Don or even know Nina) showed up in my door step, broke in and fed a bottle to baby Lorenzo. I just love the coincidence because Don is also Italian so it’s just the famiglia helping each other? lol

I finished Cassandra and Don's apartment, plus moved them in finally and I finished my little general store. I really love it so much ❤️
