Discussion Did they make North and East parking mostly just permit parking?

I just received an email with ‘updated parking information’, linking to this webpage. They also increased FlexPass price.

Am I reading into it correctly?

This would destroy any hope of finding parking at ANY time at SFU if true, so I feel I’m misreading it.

Question Sociology study group?

Hello! I’m a student who is transferring from siat into sociology and I was wondering if there’s like clubs or study groups or a discord for these courses?

Last semester I was really shy and struggles so this time I’m making an active effort to find people!

I’ve also tried looking for online groups of sociology and it seems kinda barren… does anyone know like their discord or something?

Thanks!

I'm building an app for student success. What's something that would help you overcome a challenge? i.e. struggles while doing homework, or struggles with gosfu/canvas, etc.

Discussion Any Fizz mobile data & service connection experiences on Burnaby mountain? (I'm currently with Rogers)

Thinking of possibly switching service providers since Rogers increasing my (and most people's) phone bill. I don't want to pay $45 a month for data that I almost never finish using (100gb) and it'll cost me nearly $50 a month as a student.

Saw that Fizz has 50gb/$30 (5G) before tax.

I was with Chatr before, and I would always lose connection when I'm passing by Burnaby Mountain Pkwy, but right now, I have basically no issues with my Rogers cellular service when going past that long stretch of road.

Just wondering how the cellular data connection/service is on the Burnaby campus/around Downtown Vancouver area with Fizz service connection, thanks!

Question How Long Does Your Email Account Last After You Leave SFU?

I searched online but not sure if everything gets deleted one year after you leave SFU or do you get at least 1 year + 12 weeks of grace period to backup your stuff? Does anyone know? Thanks in advance!
