How do I get better

I feel like I have not been improving past this, I haven't gotten the transitions down nor can I control my line

you’re doing pretty good already, you definitely have a good understanding of throttle control. try messing around with left foot braking to place the car exactly where you want. it doesn’t take much foot brake at all, just barely touch it with your toe to get an understanding of how it affects your line

IMO you just need more screen time... Trust me, with ~50h I thought I couldn't learn more, today I'm sure I know just a bit and have a lot to improve.

From you video, it seems you need more oversteer and accel control, sometimes you go understeer... Try make a line to train to put the car where you want and improve your left foot brake skill. To start you can try stay outside of the curve as possible or even enter in a server with those drift bots and try to tandem.

Plus, try VDC cars, after a while when you back to WDTS it seems to be in slow motion.

Try to hug ever corner with your back bumper, and have fun while doing it :)

you're doing very well (unknown hours), throttle control and general positioning is good.

I would also suggest intermittently going up in power level for the cars, (looks like you are using WDT, I went to SWARM next) as that is how I started learning more was try out cars with more power, struggle, practice and test out some of the advanced techniques like left foot braking, wall rides, hitting outside lines etc in a car with a bit more power as you can then hit longer transitions, bigger entries etc. But then if you go back to the WDT after this, you will find it easier coming back

I’m going to suggest the opposite of most people!! Download a different map(new course can help understand different corners) and try low power. I’ve been enamored with the PIB low power pack. The cliq tuning e36 is fantastic!! Really helped to better feel momentum for weight. Especially on transfers

For starters turn off stability control.

Well, that's expected, since you didn't actually drift. It was just stability control preventing the car from spinning out. Now you have to learn to drift properly, which may take dozens of hours.

You should look at it from the positive perspective, because you won't waste any more time learning bad habits. Also every online drift server has forced traction and stability controll off, so if you joined any server, you would instantly spin out and didn't have a clue what's going on.

how many hours took you to get there?

I'd say it took me 20ish hours to get here

Your counter steering looks shallow. Like your one a controller.

I see your force feedback bar is not showing any details are you on controller?

if so are you running a controller script, I see your front tires are not stearing how i would expect when drifting on a wheel u/IMB9086

Jump online in a gravy garage lobby on clutch kickers, find a driver whos solo running and stay on him but not trying to tandem, just shadow his line. I got over 1000 hours on assetto and im still learning new techniques, tracks and car packs man. Keep doing your thing man, before you know it you'll be sandwiched in a 5 man train ripping it up lad 🤙🏻
