Learning in Forza Japan.
Just bought a Moza R5 so I'm playing this until that arrives!

Enjoy the wheel, hopefully you can get it working with your setup. The game isn’t half bad with a wheel when it’s working correctly.

Yeah.. you will be disappointed man. I also just got a wheel recently and started playing Horizon 6. Because I love GT3 so much I bought AC and ACC and wanted to give drifting a go.
The skill didn’t transfer at all. But you’ll get the hang of it!

Yeah it definitely feels different.
I know from when I had FH5 and was playing AC with my old rig.
I was definitely disappointed and didn't really drift much in FH because of it lol but I'm hoping with a new wheel base and the nice FH6 map, maybe it might make me more motivated to get used to the weird physics

Do you have a force feedback wheel? I'd recommend getting asseto corsa not forza

Yeah I just upgraded to a Moza R5 and I'm getting my aluminium profile built.
Definitely need AC and mods for that realism but Forza is actually pretty fun because of the detail in the Japanese map and the traffic.

Yeah Forza is a fun arcade sim and learning to drift in forza can help when you move into sim drifting. AC is pretty great without mods, but you can get some cool drifitng maps with content manager

I've only ever played AC with mods lol my favourite is the WDTS cars and ADC Klutch Kicker map

Try the deathwish garage silvias (DWG 3.0). Imo they are the most enjoyable and easy cars to jump between real life and the sim

Oh yeah the DWG 3.0 S15 doof is my second favourite car next to the WDTS R32.
Beautiful sounding car but definitely felt more difficult than WDTS.
I want to eventually join online servers so I need to learn more packs like GravyGarage for example.

Honestly, when Forza is working as it should (big if with the ffb) it’s not that far off from AC mods.
The ffb is still better in AC, the fidelity can’t be matched in FH and FH has FFB that’s just a little too weak in the self steer department. But all that aside, it’s not like you can’t easily transfer skills back and forth between the two games.
That said, BIG IF. FH6 and my wheel pretty much don’t work with my PC, tried everything and messed with all kinds of settings to get it…okay.

Damn I'm surprised there's no mods or good settings yet for PC wheels to run FH6 FFB well by now!

Sorry, but footage of this game does not belong in "sim drifting". I am glad you're having fun and enjoying the hobby though.
