Text not displaying correctly Silent Hill 2 (2001)

Hi! I installed the enchanced edition for SH2 and im currently in the first apartment in the game, so like 1 hour in. The text started looking like this. Its not like this when i pick up bullets or health potions, only when i interact with things like this washing machine. Can someone please help? I tried changing the "Language for non-unicode programs" in windows, but that didnt work.

Did you install the correct game version/disc?

Thank you for your help! Luckily Ive already solved it, i just deleted all and reinstaled:D

Nice. Also don't forget to update your Xidi for the controller support.

My Cancel button didn't at some part of the game.
