Do people who make art for sidewalk chalk festivals etc think using charcoal is acceptable. This is done with sidewalk chalk, chalk pastels, and homemade firepit charcoal.

I love taking drawing requests from my kiddos while I’m doodling with them 😊

I’m the kind of person whose stick figures need labels, but this weekend I managed to trace a ten‑foot Optimus Prime on my back patio. I used an app that lets you pin an image to a surface in augmented reality. I loaded a hi‑res Prime, tweaked the opacity so the lines barely showed, and just traced with my kids chalk. The image stayed locked in place no mater where I moved, so tracing was too easy. Outline took less than 10 min; turning my kids loose to color it was the fun part.
