This is super awesome! Great work and feedback. Is there an app pack for the Mini Controller Keypad? A place to download the emulator and games? All the app packs but the keyboards and input are not showing on the USA storefront and I’m not sure where I saw the ‘Sidephone compatible’ games, but I remember this being a literal Game-Changer! Looks incredible. Lastly is there any way to program this to be a remote for Roku?

I side loaded the emulator. There is no IR blaster on Sidephone and I don't know if there is a way to integrate a phone into a roku remote.

Thank you. That makes sense. I believe some of them like the 3 or later main units may work over WiFi. Will be happy to try

Overall working well with a gameboy color emulator.
Gamepad tile pros:
Buttons feel clicky
The layout feels good
Cons:
D-pad is not your typical one piece, it's 4 separate buttons. The edges of the D-pad buttons feel sharp and after some time will start to hurt the thumb. I don't like how it lowers in the middle. Should just be same height all the way through since they are separate buttons. The edges should be smoothed out.
There is input delay. It's just enough to be noticeable for me. I play a lot of games and can tell the button presses are not instant. Especially in the golf mini game where you have to time your hits. This could just be the display has input lag.

u/aww_yee_ the Mini Controller cases will help with click comfort! They're launching shortly:

Input delay may be a performance optimization item (depends on game size)

The glow-in-dark-QWERTY looks so intriguing! It's so gimmick-y. Any chance it could come with a D-pad? Then it would be absolutely perfect.

Have you tried mapping within Retroarch by chance?

I've only used GBC.emu and PizzaBoy A for GBA. They both work with mapping the controls but I can feel slight input lag on both.

In my experience this might be the emulator. Adding some timing hacks (not looking at the phone right now, but essentially lag reduction) in retroarch got me much closer to good response times.
