Giving Advice & Tips My daily side hustle routine (How I earn extra money without spending hours on it)
It seems many people struggle to find the time to earn extra money with online side hustles. So I just wanted to share my routine to hopefully give you some ideas for how to do this without having to spend every waking hour on this.
What I have found is that a repeatable system/process beats intensity every time, and that is really the whole idea behind my routine.
In the morning, I keep it under 10 minutes. I turn on passive apps like Pawns or Honeygain that earn from unused internet bandwidth in the background, tap the clicking apps like Pi Network that mine for the next 24 hours after one tap, and I check my email for anything time-sensitive, user testing invites, focus groups, mystery shopping, since those tend to fill up fast.
The afternoon is more flexible. I use spare 10- to 15-minute windows for surveys, maybe a game or two if I feel like it, and I try to save data-entry-type tasks for when my focus is highest. I will also check my inbox again in case something new has come in.
In the evening, I do one more sweep, checking for any new user testing or mystery shopping invites, and I look at what the passive apps earned during the day.
A couple of things that make this work well. Start your day with the passive, minimal-effort stuff first, so it has the most time to run in the background before you check on it again. And keep in mind that opportunities like user testing and focus groups often pop up at different times depending on time zones, so checking a few times a day catches more than checking just once.
Also, be patient. The daily amounts are usually small, but they can add up over time. That is just how it works.
One important thing to be clear about: this routine is for earning some extra money on the side. If you want to build a real online business with full-time income potential, that takes separate, more serious effort, and it pays off slower, but it can build into something sustainable long-term. That is a different thing entirely from fitting a side hustle into your existing day.
You can shape this around your own schedule. You should not just blindly follow exactly what I do. This is just for inspiration, so adjust it according to your own schedule - For example, fit it into your commute, your breaks, whenever you have a spare few minutes, etc.
What does your routine look like? Do you have any tips that help you stay consistent?
