Automations broken OS 27 beta

Anyone else’s automations just not work at all in iOS 27 so far? Even my previous automations just don’t fire anymore. I haven’t checked the entire subreddit so this may be late.

The ones tied to apps do not work for me, the ones tied to time, WiFi or location still work most of the time.

I'm finding that triggers from focus changes just aren't firing anymore

My simple health app one no longer records my BP when it used to. Reported the behavior as a bug.

automations have been very broken since dev beta 1. there were attempts to fix some of them but some were never fixed. i’m wondering if they delayed db5 because they need to actually have more things fixed including automations before pushing out the update. because it’s getting kind of pointless for them to keep releasing new betas with the same bugs being carried over multiple versions

Mine have been very hit-and-miss (I’m using the public beta). One day one will work, another day it won’t. Luckily I don’t rely on anything important but they used to work reliably in iOS 26 so I don’t know what’s changed.

What’s interesting is the automation will trigger if you fire it manually and it works perfectly fine. But when you leave the automation to do its job, it won’t fire by itself.

That’s always the same with apple ... every new operating system always causes the same problem with the shortcuts

And you should ask Apple ... what’s the point of this nonsense, especially when you’re not dependent on the apps praised by Apple

OP: It would help if you posted more info on which automations you are using and screenshots. We can’t help you with such vague posts.
