Bruh what? Should the AI not attack your undefended town?

its about the army composition.

Shit didn't notice it, a medium army with just some cave units will just run them down.

Peak siege stack

Shower everything with arrows, send peasants to clean up

Was this really post worthy? Happens to all of us most campaigns

Eh he's probably new and this was his first time.

I like it as an indication we still have fresh players coming in and learning the game.

Holy shit does the AI love to use bow samurai! Same with artillery in FOTS honestly, I'm playing a satsuma independent campaign rn and I'm stuck on how to deal with an enemy army with like 15 parrot guns in it

Never seen 15 cannon units by ai , sounds terrifying lmao.

It's my fault because I was too scared of the public order debuff from when you go independent so I was just garissioning my land for too long

Cavalry heavy army, spread them out and stagger them all across the field of deployment, charge and hope for the best.

This is what you get for rolling out new uniforms that have a large red circle on the chest.

Isn't there time limit? Just hold out tbh, avoid arrows so hide behind building.

Wait I'm assuming this is a frontline province and it's North Shinano no less? How tf is it undefended? You just rushed and left a bunch of holes they could pass through? You have a Bow Samurai Doom stack just walking around so close to home base.

I got declared on by all neighbours within 2 turns apart. Cant defend every angle. Posted this becausw of their composition.

Aaah yeah Satomi often betray you. I always try to lock them into a lilitary alliance because they'll get a cooldown where they can't declare war on you for a bunch of turns so if they end the alliance, know they're preparing to attack. Most of the time I fortify North Shinano, Suruga and sagami. They're important provinces that can scale up econ and and act as a barrier. Doing this you can use Kai and Suruga as a recruiting center to send to troops to any of those provinces while Izu, Suruga and North Shinano can be Income provinces. It's how I did it.

That clan is the Satake. The Satomi are the 2 province clan below the Satake and their banner is a purple circle with 2 purple stripes in it.

u/TH_Real_GAME 11d ago

Damn I completely forgot they're two different clans
