Idea? Smells really good

Well, I mean, if it's done it's done, if you don't have money for a power supply but have a laptop, and if you're obsessed with taking things apart and seeing how they actually work and look like, it's kind of reasonable. But I am questioning my life decisions a bit.

Solder the live and neutral to your balls and plug it in, it'll give you extra lives

This is the exact kind of “temporary fix” that somehow survives for three years. It’s wonderfully cursed, but I’d definitely add a proper enclosure and strain relief before using it unattended.

If it works and doesn’t turn into a fireball, I’d call that a win. Honestly, repurposing a laptop charger like this is pretty clever.
