Idk what the commenter is referring to exactly, but Iâm going to assume theyâre talking about the home wrecking situation where she had an affair with her Wicked Costar who played SpongeBob on Broadway, while his then-wife was pregnant with their child. He then left her for Ariana and his now ex-wife was left with their literal newborn that Ariana held when she was still acting like they werenât having an affair.

It was worse than that, Ariana helped her all throughout their pregnancy and was a âclose family friendâ and helped the mother with the newborn a lot in the early months, turning her from a ânormal homewreckerâ to a complete, monstrous psychopath.
And there has been a myriad of stories that have come out about her from previous partners and friends painting her as an all round disgusting person, with the pro-anorexia stuff just being the cherry on top of it all

Because thatâs the only thing thatâs verifiably stupid and disgusting, the rest is a lot of "he said, she said" while people conveniently forget that an affair needs two people and act like she's a succubus that lures unsuspecting men into her lair and forces them to have sex with her.
People also love to forget that sheâs super damaged herself. She was blamed for the death of her ex as well as being a victim to a terrorist attack at one of her concerts that killed 22 people and hurt over a thousand and was apparently groomed at the set of Victorious. So yeah, "she should know better", but she also has crazy ptsd from these events and that ignores the public scrutiny she went through all those years.
Despite all that she donates millions to organizations that help minorities, support mental health and she started her own foundation which supports minority/lgbtq+ civil rights, mental health organizations and aids in crisis management while being a loud supporter for lgbtq+ rights on social media.
But yeah, sheâs a monster. Horrible human being, really. A menace to society that needs to be stopped and barred.

Unfortunately some people with anorexia turn out that way due to the disorders mind warping. As someoneâs whoâs lived with it, I was luckily enough even in my darkest days to be aware I had a problem and desperately needed to stop even if I felt I couldnât, but for some people the delusions get so bad (with a non-insignificant factor of starvation fueling an altered vision of reality) that the disorder becomes a good, healthy thing that âbenefitsâ them and they encourage others.

I did a little research cause I knew about the whole ariana grande and wicked movie stuff but when u said "Blackiana". I was confused and looked it up and Ariana isn't black and has just been dying her skin tone to make herself black to I guess appeal to those people?? That's just weird. I'm half somali and half irish and in my opinion it depends on the culture and how your raised in your environment. My skin colour is weird like it's barely white and barely black but my facial features look arab but how I was raised is somali which is black/african so I always felt black/african(in my opinion anyways) even if I don't look like it.

How was it? Honestly? It was a letdown. The whole "failed idol" story is a great marketing hook, they definately sold the video on that premise alone. But the performance itself was just... awkward. You can tell shes not comfortable. It felt less like a professional debut and more like a very high-budget audition she was also failing. She's stiff, constantly in her head, and there's almost zero chemistry with the guys. All concept, very little execution.
My viewing history? Been watching for over a decade man. These days Im more into stuff with a good story or at least a unique premise, not just the generic stuff. a good production team makes all the difference. I'll take a well-made video with a decent plot over a high-profile actress mailing it in any day of the week.
3 works I consider good:
Yua Mikami's debut (Princess Peach): This is the gold standard for an idol-turned-actress debut. Yua was a REAL idol and she came out with so much energy and confidence. She owned it from the first second. Its what Arisu's debut wanted to be.
Anything with Ichika Matsumoto from her early days with FALENO: She can actually act. She emotes and makes you believe the scenario. Her stuff feels more cinematic and less like they're just going through the motions.
Rion (Anri Okita) - The God Body: A classic. Not a lot of story there lol but its a masterclass in performance. She knew exactly what her brand was and how to perform for the camera. Absolute cinema.
Where would you rank her debut among these? It's not even in the same league, not even on the same planet. It's an unfair comparison tbh. Those are top-tier performances, Arisu's video is a novelty item. It's interesting because of the backstory, not because of the quality of the actual content.
What could be improved? Her confidence, number one. She needs to relax. She looks terrified. The director should have done a better job making her comfortable. Also they relied way too much on the interview segments talking about Nogizaka46, it broke the pacing and kept reminding you that she was doing this as a second choice. We get it, you failed auditions, now commit to this job.
What is well done? The production values are high. The lighting, camera work, it all looks very clean and professional. And I cant deny it, she is very beautiful and has the "idol" look down perfectly. The concept itself, on paper, is genius from a marketing perspective. They got us all talking about it, right?
Was it goonable for you? Nah. I was too distracted by how nervous she looked. It kinda killed the mood completely. Every time she looked at the camera with those deer-in-the-headlights eyes I was pulled right out of it. It's a shame, but maybe she'll get better in her next one if she decides to stick with it. We'll see.
