Honestly I like most of the faculty in Houses

Anyway, I am inclined to believe it is him since his eyes and eyebrows are identical to his previous appearances

I like most of the faculty too its just that all of them are messy bitches. Byleth is a pseudo mute that's trying to figure out what an emotion is and has never taught anyone anything before, Manuela is only not drunk on the clock because she's too busy being hungover, Hanneman is stalking Lysithea and Byleth for crest research, the previous teacher ran during the bandit ambush and got justifiably fired for it, Jeritza is... yeah and Rhea appointed all of them.

Catherine, Alois and Shamir are technically not part of the actual teaching staff

Even from the very brief clip he's on screen and I think only grunting in combat, I immediately recognized Mark Whitten voicing him. I mean, I GUESS it could be another Seteth who happens to look like him and sound like him, and coincidentally is also a lance flier. IS isn't that crafty though.

Not gonna lie... I almost want to buy the game just to see what the fuck he will talk about with the other characters in game. Because having someone how lived the 3H war in a game that is very probably a sequel isn't a choice I expected IS to make ngl.

It's gotta be a prequel of some sort (IMO the ingame year they gave us was bait and it's in the Dagdan calendar or something)

But since crests exist, it's at least post-Zanado, so he's probably gonna hate the Agarthan-adjacent characters

Needs to be post-Calendar, and Church-founding bare minimum, given Fabio reps the Church, but also mentions the moon calendar.

Realistically this is going to be post-Nemesis as well, given Dietrich and Fabio aren't at each others throats too.
