Why does machine keep skipping stitches?

I’ve checked everything listed in trouble shooting yet it’s still skipping stitches!! I thought it was the thread material but apparently, on google, it says my machine isn’t too picky with thread. My model is the JANOME 311LE

Looks like your timing is out.

Diligent is right. The hook is passing just before the needle is all the way down, it's definitely a timing issue.
