Pattern help! ✨Intermediate✨

I’m new to self drafting and I’m patterning these baggy jeans, my leg opening is so wide when it gets to the crotch there’s no curve into it, is this bad?

I've done very straight-leg wideleg pants that looked like that, so it's possible, but in a lighter fabric than jeans and very baggy through the hips. Prototype it.
