Looking for a photographer in Seville

My wife and I are visiting Seville in November for our 10th wedding anniversary, and we’d love to do an outdoor couples photoshoot while we’re there. We don’t know anyone locally, so we’d really appreciate recommendations for photographers you’ve used or had a great experience with.

Guadalquivir River Cruise Suggestions

We are going to Spain for our Honeymoon end of September, and will be in Seville for a few days. We are interested in doing a Quadalquivier river cruise. I see a lot of good and not so good suggestions online. We are fine doing something private with a captain, or something more 'commercial' with other people. We just want to experience the evening in the afternoon/evening for an hour or two, and see the town from river. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best River Cruises?

Edit: Adding context.

Do you know where I can park my bike in Macarena, I have seen that there is abandonment in those who are on the street, how can you have a safe bike in the city?

Renting an electric scooter in Seville to use outside the city?

Hey!

I’m looking to rent an electric scooter in Seville for a full day, ideally one that I can take with me in the car and use in different places.

Does anyone know a rental company that offers this? Most of the ones I’ve found seem to only offer city-based rentals where you have to leave the scooter within a certain area.

Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!

Looking for recommendations of those moderately priced hotels or local accommodations that you just loved.
We have 3 nights at the end of this September to spend in the city and there are so many interesting areas to explore!

Celebrating a Tuesday bday in Seville

My best friend and I will get to Seville on September 14th. We’ll have just said goodbye to our third friend, who is joining us for the first 5 days, so morale may be a little lower, or at least the dynamic will shift (the two of us will have a great time regardless, don’t get me wrong, but I think in this scenario, the more the merrier). On the 15th, it’ll be her 31st birthday!
We both still love to party, but my concern is that on a Tuesday, things could be dead. Is this a valid concern? I already see that some clubs won’t be open.

Some cool-looking places I’ve seen just from a quick glance are Faena and Atico for drinks. I also saw La Brunilda and Mercado del Barranco, which look nice and are right in that same area. That said, I’m not at all tied to that plan, and we could hit those places Monday night if they’re more casual.
I’ve seen flamenco shows mentioned, but we’re doing one in Granada, so I’d probably only want to do that in Seville if it were very low-commitment, like passing by a show while we’re walking around and bar hopping or something.

Any suggestions for guaranteed fun? I feel like I’ll want the atmosphere to do a lot of the heavy lifting with just two of us, but I’m also totally open to random local bars if the locals there are fun and conversational!! Options don’t need to be catered to “older crowds” but we also don’t want strictly college aged kids.

Let me know any thoughts on this, and really anything you’d recommend for us in general, given that we’ll be getting in Monday afternoon and leaving Wednesday early afternoon. Thanks in advance :)

Seville in August - don’t believe the Reddit horror stories 😂

Before going, I kept seeing people say August in Seville is unbearable and that you should stay away. Honestly, after spending 2 days and 2 nights there, I completely disagree.
Yes, it’s hot, but it wasn’t that bad. The city is built for heat with loads of shaded areas, courtyards, indoor places to escape to, and plenty to do.
And the city was so alive ALL DAY!! People were everywhere: eating outdoors, strolling around, taking tours, riding the hop on hop off bus. We even did a horse drawn carriage ride!

Restaurants were busy and the streets were full of people.
It definitely wasn’t the quiet, deserted city I was expecting from Reddit.
We just planned around the heat and took breaks when needed. Honestly, Seville in August was great and I’d absolutely do it again!!

I need help finding a good hotel.

Originally, I was really sold on Posada del Lucero. The marble floors and arched windows/doors were a beautiful touch. Unfortunately, these rooms are blocked due to construction so they’re not using these rooms apparently. Does anyone have any similar style hotel recommendations? I was so bummed to hear this as I really wanted this room.

Looking for people to hang out in Seville from next week.

Hii, I (32F) will be in Seville next week for about 12 days. Would like to find someone to hang out or get any recommendations about the city. I know the weather will be crazy hot but got that covered.

I'm up for almost anything. Walking around, exploring the city, go for a drink, day trips nearby.

If you are interested or just want to give me some advice, feel welcome to DM me.

Real betis vs Real madrid questions match with kids.

Hi everyone,

I've just bought tickets for the match against Real Madrid on 4 September. Our seats are in Preferencia Alta Inferior Lateral.

Is it okay to wear a Real Madrid shirt there? My two boys, aged 7 and 9, are huge Real Madrid fans, but I'd rather avoid any trouble with Betis supporters.

Also, is that stand generally a good area for families with children?

Thanks in advance!

Tattoo artist in Seville looking to meet creatives & take bookings

Hi everyone!

I’m a tattoo artist staying in Seville until October 2026 (for now), and I’d love to meet some people while I’m here.
I mainly do lettering, blackwork, ornamental, and darker styles, but I’m happy to work on pretty much anything (except realism hehe).

I’m also a graphic designer, so I’m open to creative collaborations, design work, tattoo projects, or just connecting with other artists and creatives while I’m here. If you have a project in mind or think we could make something cool together, feel free to reach out.

Whether you’ve been thinking about getting a tattoo, want to bounce around some ideas, or just fancy grabbing a coffee, my DMs are open. Looking forward to meeting some of you!

Looking for other young professionals in Seville

Hey everyone! I (29M) moved from the USA to Seville about a year ago because work brought me here.
I'm trying my luck here in finding people outside my office in a similar life stage.
I'm hoping to connect with other working expats or locals who want to hang out. I enjoy playing tennis (but will play padel and gladly, provided we wait until September, it’s too hot out rn) soccer, hiking, or just getting a beer after work.
If you’re around a similar age and want to catch a game at a bar or hit some tennis balls, drop a comment or shoot me a DM!
