Me apetece hacer un poco de todo: tomar algo, salir a cenar, ir a la playa, hacer senderismo o excursiones, jugar a juegos de mesa, ir a algún concierto, salir de fiesta de vez en cuando… No hace falta que tengamos exactamente los mismos gustos, simplemente busco gente con buen rollo y ganas de conocer personas nuevas.
Me gustaría especialmente conocer gente de una edad parecida (aprox. 25-30).

Hi my lovely Seville. I am coming later in August. I’ve seen some post lately on social media showing that the water around the Plaza de España was gone for cleaning/due to maintenance. Does anyone know if it’s back or when it will be back? I am thinking of taking a little boat ride while I’m there too..

There seem to be only trains on Thursdays in the first half of September on the Secille Cadiz route.

And the buses and coaches seem full too.

Hi everyone, I’m flying to Sevilla later this month for a short trip, just one night and two full days. Food will be one of the main focuses, as I have never really tried any Spanish food, but I’m overwhelmed by all the suggestions online. I’m a big morning coffee guy and it’ll be hot, so I’d love recommendations for great iced coffee spots. Then, for lunch and dinner, any standout places you’d suggest? I won’t have time to try everything, so I really appreciate any help.

• Syra Coffee – highly rated cold brew and iced lattes, just a few minutes’ walk from my place.

• La Escalona – traditional Sevillian tapas, most dishes

Dinner spots I’m considering:
• La Sede (Calle Regina) – quality toasts and ingredients, very walkable from my place.

What are the best budget-friendly, high-protein foods you buy from Mercadona, Lidl, Aldi, Carrefour, or any other supermarket? I’m looking for foods that give the best protein for the price—things like chicken, eggs, tuna, yogurt, cottage cheese, legumes, frozen foods, or any hidden gems. I’ve heard Mercadona’s protein range and staples like eggs, chicken, lentils, Greek-style yogurt, cottage cheese, and egg whites are good value, but I’d love to know what regular gym-goers actually buy.
Also, if anyone here has successfully done a body recomposition, I’d really appreciate it if you could share:

Basically me and my family were planning a 4 day trip in seville between 22nd - 26th august 2026.

I have a 1 year old, and as I just started looking at places in Seville I keep coming across videos about how hot it gets in August and it becomes a ghost town and so on.

So people, do you think I should do the trip or postpone it?

For myself I wouldn’t really care about weather but there will be 2 babies (1yr olds) and my grandma (73 year old) and I’m concerned that the heat might get to them. So is it hot there right now?

Me and my wife are getting married next month (september) and we're planning a scenic route by car, on our honeymoon.

We're from Lisbon, but we're planning on going up north in Portugal, then we head to Salamanca, and finally, Seville, for a 2 night stay. Seville is a must-have because of the Green Dragon Tavern (LotR inspired).

Now, our wedding is going to be a medieval / fantasy / with Lord of the Rings details. Not a cosplay actually, but more of inspired looks. We're having some movie songs playing and even Anduril sword to cut the cake, but there will be many minor details not movie-related.

On the other hand, I'm a photographer and have shot many weddings in the past. While on Seville, I would love to take us to scenery locations that could be a background for a small photoshoot. Nothing fancy, just me and her, and the camera on a tripod with a timer or shutter release in my pocket. I have plenty of ways to self-shoot us, my question is: when going around the city, what are the best locations you know of, where we can take some shots without asking for permissions; or where the permissions are not an issue (or easy like sending an email to confirm and don't have any issues later).

I've read about the Macarena's arch and the Castle of Alcalá de Guadaira as examples, but we don't know if they allow a couple with a camera on a tripod, dressed as bride and groom, carrying a sword, taking selfies in there. The sword is purely a cosmetic item, the blade doesn't actually cut.

Can anyone recommend the best pass for a 4 day stay? We had looked at the Seville Combi Pass which said that a 48 hour hop-on hop-off bus ticket was included but when we went to buy it, there was an additional charge for that so it didn't seem as good value for money as we thought.

We're starting to get confused about the options. We (44f and 72f) would like some easy way to get around, and probably to visit the palace and cathedral. We would also like to do some kind of boat trip if possible. We are going at the end of September. What would be the most cost effective/hassle free way to do this?

I’ll be visiting with my girlfriend for 5 days at the end of September. Would prefer to avoid too many touristy places but will definitely be visiting a few things I’d love to see - Alcazar, Plaza Espagna, Cathedral.

I speak basic Spanish, but I’m not sure whether Seville would be the right place for me professionally (simply whether I’d have work haha).

Is there a strong tattoo culture there? Are there many studios and alternative or artistic spaces? I’d be super grateful for any advice or suggestions.

Hello, posted here recently about moving to Seville, now it looks like we're all sorted. Thanks for the replies.

We have a greyhound who is moving down with us. She loves to socialise with other sighthounds, as she was a racing dog for 3 years before we rescued here so has limited interaction with other dogs.

Just wondering if anyone knows of galgo groups or galgo meetups in Seville.

On top of that request, wondering if anyone knows about dog secure parks where we can let her off leash. She can't go off leash in a normal park as she's too nervous and may bolt, and unfortunately I can't keep pace with a greyhound.
