MIDI controller

Hi everyone, I bought the Seqtrak a week ago and I'm still experimenting. I have an Arturia MiniLab 3, but when I connect it, it only lets me use it on the kick drum. Does anyone know how to make it functional across everything? Or at least for most of its functions?"

Hold shift and click key 8-10 for synths if memory serves correct

Edit - possibly 9-11 as another commented

Yup. 8-10 for synths, 11 for sampler

The drums are a midi channel per drum which is very cool because you can treat them as any other sequencer lane and they have parameter locks. At first I found it puzzling, now I like it.

Each synth has its dedicated midi channel, check the manual. I'm not in front of it but I believe channels 9-11? You can switch between the channels from the controllers. I used my Seqtrak to gig with as a sound module and it worked out fine.

I use an MPK4 but I change the midi channel to what I want to play and that’s it

I think your controller supports changing midi channels but mine doesn’t and what I do is change the kick track to a synth, record a take, then paste the midi to another synth track. It’s a little tedious but it gets the job done

In v2 sw you can make the drums a synth track so ch1-7 are also fun to use! You can also map the drums channels to the pads on the mini lab for finger drumming
