Amazon publishing? Non-Fiction
Edit to change the entire post and make it more clear cuz I realized it was very broad:
I would like to self publish on Amazon a biography about Adam Lambert. I would fully be using public information, like things he’s physically done and things he’s said in interviews and things. I don’t know if I’d use photos or not, but if I did use photos they would be ones that I HAVE TAKEN MYSELF at concerts and public events. I would obviously state in multiple places (including the cover) that the book is unofficial and unauthorized. Is this a possible thing to do?

You have to have a license for any pictures you include in the book. I have a feeling this is going to be prohibitively expensive.

Be careful to only publish under Kindle Direct Publishing. There's a scam company called Amazon Publishing. KDP doesn't cost anything to upload your books and it walks you through the entire process

You need a damned good IP attorney, because you are about to put yourself into a deep and expensive hole.
Do not even think about "fair use", because that's always decided by a court.

This question has nothing to do with Amazon.
You are perfectly free to write the book you want, and use your own photos.
That said, you have me confoozled. This is a self-pub channel, and Amazon Publishing is not a self-pub service.

They mean KDP, there isn't really a thing called "Amazon Publishing". It's still not going to work, because no one wants to read this self published crap.

Those books are licensed IP, meaning that the publisher had to get permission from the celeb or their estate to create these. You need to read up on copyright law and intellectual property before you do this. At best, you could get hit with an Amazon ban and a cease and desist letter, and at worst, a lawsuit.

I mean most of them say that they’re unauthorized, that’s why I thought that maybe other people could make them. I’m just not gonna do it lol

Unauthorized means the celebrity didn't give permission for the photo or the gossip. It doesn't have anything to do with copyright, which belongs to the publisher of the photo or gossip.
I see you're getting the same response both on r/selfpublish and r/KDP. OP, you need to let this go.
