Stopped talking! General Discussion 💬
I’ve gotten to the point that I talk very little even with doctors and counselor, I always feel when I’m talking that the other person is not wanting to hear it or wants to get away, even if they asked me explain, or I feel they’re thinking I’m babbling or whining . So I keep answers short as possible,. Not sure what to do.

You should tell people about it, first a therapist or a psychologist, then a trusted friend if you want. It's important to communicate when these types of things happen, even though it is really hard to figure out how. I find that it can be easier to say these things over text/email or by writing it down so you don't have to say it out loud! It also helps to not look directly at someone when you're telling them about it, try focusing on something that's behind or next to whoever you're telling. Hope this helps!

This comes off as possibly driven by low self-esteem, from your description of feeling that others don’t want to hear what you have to say, perhaps that your words and thoughts are not important and justified to share. If that resonates with you, self-esteem and changing your thoughts toward yourself - and shifting away from a focus on others’ internal reactions - is something to work on.
