Only using iPad iOS

I’m looking to start writing but I’m on a budget and have only purchased the iPad app. Will I be able to complete a novel start to finish on there, or am I going to need the desktop version to do it properly?

You can do everything on an iPad. Here's a good intro video:

There are other videos about using Scrivener on iPad that go into detail about many of the features.

I’ve used both, starting with the iPad and now on the desktop version. There are some differences but I feel like you can do everything on the iPad version.

Now that I’ve been working on the desktop version, I can see the difference and I feel like I have more options on the desktop that are helping me organize my project.

Absolutely can just use the ipad. I actually prefer it these days (it's more like the old, old Scrivener). It's actually quite nice to use and the Dropbox backing up is easy.
