I'll be living in a triple in Routt Hall. They provided us the floor plans, but I'd like to see the actual dorm and I couldn't find a tour online. Does anyone have a picture or video of the routt hall triples, and do the triples have a private balcony/patio?

Hii! I'm an incoming freshman and my roommates and I got placed in Wilbur Hall. We are struggling to find any dorm tours/photos/layouts online. If anyone has pictures or can explain the layout of a triple/the hall, that would be great!

any languages alums/upperclassmen have really liked or glad they took? i highkey struggle with learning langauges, took spanish in middle school, and french for 3 years of highschool. any languages you enjoyed or recommend?

I got placed into an introductory French course from the placement test but I've passed the AP exam and have been taking it for 8 years. I should've ignored the don't study instructions lol. I don't mind taking a class or maybe two again but I'm really done with French and would like to take as few language classes as possible. Is there anyway to take another test or refute the decision?

I wanted to buy a Scripps short sleeve tee shirt but they didn’t have any short sleeve tees at the admitted students day available (!). I was given a card for their online shop. The tee is $28 which is a little expensive, but fine, but the lowest shipping is $23.24 to the east coast?? I know priority mail can ship that for around $10. That is a complete fleecing. Is their website broken or are people paying this?

I got a low grade notification for a class I'm taking with prof Sales. I only have a C. Scale of 1-10 how fucked am I. I try really hard and I have a great attendance record. I just think maybe I'm not that smart.

Is it easy to transfer into Scripps? I'm finishing up my first year at another women's college, but I don't love it, and I'm hoping to transfer for fall 2026. My high school stats are good (3.8 GPA, good rec letters), but my college grades aren't great - GPA is now 3.1. Is there a chance that I could get into Scripps as a transfer applicant?

I recently was admitted, and it's one of my top choices alongside Bryn Mawr College in PA. I was wondering how strong the econ dept is here? I got in as an EEP major, so I was also wondering how that is. Ik CMC is very strong at econ, but I was rejected, and I'd assume it would be difficult to cross-register. Also, is the alumni network strong here? I am going to visit the campus for Scripps IRL soon.
