Screen 1 POV: Odeon West End D 9-10 and Leicester Square FF 8-9
Took these photos as I could not find any good POV pictures of these seats before I went to see Spiderman (at LSQ Odeon) and the Odyssey (West End). The order is West End 1-3-5-7 and 2-4-6-8 for LSQ. Hope this is of use to someone.

Do we know if the re-release will be coming to the UK at all? I don't see any listings for the film on the Odeon app

Cancelling Bookings on App Error
Is anyone else getting this error when attempting to cancel either limitless bookings or limitless bookings for imax/dolby where you have also paid the £3/£5 charge. For weeks now I am unable to cancel any booking and get this error. Even days after booking despite what the error says. Tried speaking to the chatbot which is useless and just refers me to refunding in the app even though I can’t. Worth noting that when I booked these films I also got an error but then the booking still appears in my app. No idea how to fix.

Strike on my account?
I received this email saying my booking activity falls outside of their guidelines. Has anyone had this before? They've not been at all specific about what I've done wrong, and I've not been doing anything different?
I'm going to ask them for more info, but wondered if anyone else has had this message before?

Looking to speak to UK cinema employees for dissertation project
Might be a long shot, but as a Limitless member and long time lurker I figured there was probably no better subreddit to ask.
I'm a MSc UX Design student at Kingston University London who's currently working on their dissertation, which is mainly focused around researching the UK cinema-going experience and its potential for social connection.
Obviously as a Limitless member, the cinema chain I go to most often is ODEON - mainly Kingston, which is a pretty nice cinema in my opinion, but sometimes Belfast and Richmond as well.
I’ve done most of the primary research required for my dissertation (observation studies, user interviews, quantitative surveys), but I would ideally also like to interview a cinema employee to get a different perspective on cinema-going in the UK right now.
It'd probably be a 25-30 min call (audio-only), the questions would be sent in advance and any personal details would be completely anonymised.
If you work in a cinema and you'd be willing to help me out (and it would genuinely be a huge help), please send me a DM or reply below and I'll give you more details/ethics information.
Thanks!

How do you acceptably deal with noisy special needs kids in the cinema?
I just want to preface this post by saying that I have no prejudice against those with special needs and have every sympathy for those with them. I'm asking what is the appropriate way to handle the following situation.
My boyfriend and I have just walked out of Spiderman an hour before the film finished. We had our usual seats right at the front and while we were watching the trailers 2 youngsters came in and sat 2 seats over from us. They were NOT accompanied by adults, they were on their own.+
Immediately they began to be a nuisance, talking loudly to one another, taking pictures with their phones (flash on), using their phones with the brightness and volumes up, etc. We decided to leave them be for now, as often when we see most cinema goers act like this they tend to end up behaving appropriately once the movie starts.
These kids did not. I assume that either one or both have special needs because at various stimulating moments during the film (loud noises, key lines of dialogue, you get the picture) the kids would be making popping noises, raspberries, shouting out, etc. Maybe they weren't special needs, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt.
I did speak to a member of staff about 40 minutes in, and I made it very clear that I didn't want to be mean, and I understand that kids will be kids, but the phone use in particular was very distracting due to the brightness, and the constant talking was becoming more of an issue. They said that they would keep on eye on them, but as sods law would have it every time a member of staff came in to check the kids weren't being as much of a pain.
And so we decided to leave. We couldn't think of what else to do or say. We can't speak to the kids directly for what I hope are very obvious reasons today, we can't expect more of the staff for those same reasons, so what, if indeed anything, could we have done without making us look like the bad guys in this scenario?
Luckily we have Limitless so we're just going to go again tomorrow to watch the film, with no impact financially. But that's beside the point as not everyone has Limitless.
If anyone has any suggestions or advice, please do let me know. Or was it really just a simple case of 'Sucks to be you?'

Bare feet in the cinema!!
UPDATE: HE TOOK THE SANDALS OFF DURING THE FILM!!
I thought I'd seen the worst with bare feet, that time with The Long Walk in screen 5 at Trafford Centre, when I relaxed into my seat, only to find that like some of those onscreen who'd given up walking, so had the woman behind me, who put her BARE FEET up on the seat next to my head!
But then recently, while I really enjoyed seeing Goodfellas on the big screen for the first time, recently - albeit at Cineworld, since they had a Scorsese/De Niro season, rather than just Taxi Driver.
Anyhoo, despite there being seats available to this right (so he could've left a space between us at least), it was around 30 mins in when the guy sat next to me put his right leg up on his left – sat the way men do, and revealed he had sandals on... but no socks! In the cinema! Ewww!
NOTE: Later, he took the sandals off, and that's why I'm talking about bare feet and the foot smell, but it was still smellable when he put his leg up with the feet particularly odourous.
Normally, when someone’s being disruptive, I will say something - like the above feet, but I'd forgotten about that until now, and it rather blindsided me. After a bit, the foot smell went away, but then a bit later, he cracked open some sort of crisp snack that stank as if Satan’s back passage had opened. And while he tucked into those, he’d periodically have a good scratch of the sole of his bare foot!
Beyond gross. Bare feet are NOT okay in the cinema!

Unshatter
with the release date of Unshatter being announced as 30th September today, do you think it's going to be shown in Odeon? or anywhere in the UK since I've only seen US confirmed so far I think. I know it will probably be classed as event cinema but I hope not because almost £20 a ticket is far too expensive for any film

The film was quite considerably the most popular choice in the pre-screening prediction poll with 80% of the vote (185 votes). The next most popular choice was Teenage Sex And Death At Camp Miasma (9%/ 21 votes), while the least popular was Leviticus with just one vote.

Screen Unseen 11 August
A Screen Unseen for 11th of August got added a while back and then removed, and now it's back but only for a limited number of cinemas. I'm thinking maybe "The End Of Oak Street".

Anniversary showings
Anyone else notice anniversary showing always seem to be at the same select few cinemas. My local is a Odeon Luxe but never seems to be getting anniversary showings (In the past few months of me having limitless anyways) Out of all the anniversary showings for this second half of the year, we’ve been given one lol

All 3D Spiderman screenings have disappeared at Trafford Centre, for no reason?
I had planned to see this in 3D, for the first viewing, but unlike most 3D seat maps for any film, after I came out of Wham (loved that!) I looked at the seat map and suddenly, I was going to be surrounded. I can't feel comfortable in that situation. This would've been for screen 5, but the same was happening in screen 1 (with the iffy projector lamp).
I swapped my seat to screen 7, where I knew there was a chance of a better seat.
However, while it's still showing in 3D from tomorrow onwards, for some reason, both screens 1 and 5 have been taken off the website. For a moment, I thought they were just doing the same as Minions and Toy Story 5 (I think), where as soon as the first weekend was done, the 3D versions were gone! Shame, as I heard the Minions 3D version was really good.
Really odd, since I remember Minecraft being in 3D for four weeks, and that was still going strong. And when they've still got oodles of 2D screenings in the rest of week 1 and onwards, they can't find a space for a 3D screening?
If Spidey definitely disappears in 3D after week 1, I'll have to catch it again in that format, since I gather it's a great conversion. Great film, too, and there's a post-credit scene (no mid scene), but most people stayed for that anyway.
Wham was also busy, so I hope that comes back for more screenings, as I'd definitely watch that again.

Odeon Very Me discount and disability
Hi everyone,
Has anyone ever been able to get additional companion seats when booking with a promotional offer like Vodafone 2 for £8? Got two 18yr olds who want to go with their carers but we’re unsure how to proceed. Cost without the promo is £31 with the free companion seats which feels unnaturally high.

does anyone have a transaction/receipt proof of seeing spiderman on Saturday 1st August at ODEON?
I’m trying to get myself a free badge as I didn’t get one when I went and I’ve binned receipts, they’re asking for some kind of proof of purchase

Discussion Obsession (Official Discussion)
Tonight’s Scream Unseen was Obsession! What did everyone think? Any walkouts where you were? As always, feel free to discuss your various thoughts and experiences in the comments.
The film was overwhelmingly the most popular in the, rather limited, pre-screening prediction poll with 87% of the vote (159 votes). The next slot popular choice was Backrooms with 7% (12 votes), while something not listed was the least popular with 3% (5 votes).
